Four horns extended backward from his head, and a "mask" covered his mouth (though he could leave it uncovered, of course).
His eyes turned red, and his pupils disappeared. Two protrusions rose over his shoulders like a breastplate, and two horns grew from his back.
Blade-like protrusions sprouted from his arms, and his power increased even further.

In the anime, Son Goku had used this move too.
He'd concentrated energy in his finger and effortlessly stopped Future Trunks' Treasure Sword.
Now, Cooler had spread his aura across his entire body. He didn't even care about Future Trunks' sword.
Future Trunks unleashed a series of sword techniques, but they were useless.
Even when the blade struck, Cooler's body was like iron. The sword couldn't hurt him at all.

Future Trunks slid the Treasure Sword back into the sheath on his back.

The pain curled his whole body like a prawn.
"Damn Saiyan! Do you understand the difference between us now?"
"I haven't even used my full power. Get ready to feel the fear of death!"
Cooler vanished in a flash and appeared behind Future Trunks.

A heavy punch slammed into his back.
Future Trunks' body hurtled toward the ground.

He struck the earth, leaving a huge crater.
A dragon that couldn't cross a river wasn't much of a dragon. Cooler's Battle Power was truly formidable.
It seemed Cooler was confident in his strength.
That was why he'd come to Earth to kill the Saiyans and restore his family's honor.

Fury showed in his eyes. He raised his hands beside his head, gathering a huge beam of energy and firing it at Cooler.
He knew that if he lost, the enemy would take control of the entire Earth.
Then this timeline would fall into the same endless despair and helplessness as the Future Timeline.
Humanity would be forced to hide like rats in the street, scraping by to stay alive.
"Good! I'll show you what overwhelming power looks like."
Seeing Future Trunks use an energy attack, Cooler didn't back down.
He was determined to beat his opponent in every way.
Only then could he prove that his Frost Demon Clan was the strongest race in the universe.
An energy sphere instantly gathered at Cooler's fingertip, and he hurled it at the beam of energy rushing toward him.
"What? Magic Flash?"
"How does that guy know my technique? Did Gohan teach him?"
Piccolo saw the technique Future Trunks was using.
He was taken aback, then wondered if Gohan had taught it to him.
