Overview

A soul ring is a soul power energy body whose defining “bloodline factors” are the distribution and proportion of its soul power particles. Its year limit reflects the quantity and quality of contained soul power, while its bloodline-factor structure influences the soul skills produced after absorption. 212 219

A martial soul converts absorbed soul-ring power into soul power suited to itself. During this process, the bloodline factors of the ring and martial soul converge, with the martial soul taking the leading role. 213

Relationship with Martial Souls

A soul ring stimulates a martial soul’s unlocking and evolution through the quality of its soul power. Rings with insufficient quality can hinder a martial soul’s development and lower its eventual upper limit. 214 219

When absorbed, the martial soul converts the ring’s soul power into a compatible form, preventing conflict between human and soul beast power. The converted power can improve the martial soul’s grade before the soul master’s dantian soul power catches up through cultivation. 213

Soul skills arise from the fusion of the ring’s and martial soul’s bloodline factors. Most are fusion skills, although certain martial souls have restricted skill options. 212 213

Natural Soul Rings

Natural soul rings are acquired from soul beasts and contain soul power accumulated over the beast’s lifetime. Their large total power makes absorption heavily dependent on the absorber’s physical constitution; ten-thousand-year rings additionally require sufficient spiritual power to endure Soul Impact. 215 70

Creation Process
