Background / History

Tang Hao was hunted by Spirit Hall following the events surrounding Ah Yin. Even while suffering internal injuries and depleted Soul Power, he remained overwhelmingly stronger than a Soul Grandmaster, wielding the Clear Sky Hammer and a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring. His hatred toward Spirit Hall was absolute. 41

He concealed his identity from Tang San during the latter's early years. After criticizing Yu Xiaogang's guidance, Tang Hao entrusted him with a Forty-Thousand-Year Poison-Attribute Left Leg Soul Bone as a birthday gift for Tang San, while allowing only the fact that he was a Titled Douluo to be revealed. 82 83

After Tang San's conflicts with Ye Lan and Martial Soul Hall escalated, Tang Hao removed Xiao Wu to test Tang San's attachment to her and to prepare both of them for a possible separation. He later took Tang San to a mountain waterfall for two years of harsh training, explaining that Ah Yin had been a Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor who sacrificed herself to save them. 125 183

His devotion to family is tempered by ruthless pragmatism. He abducts Xiao Wu to test Tang San's resolve, threatens thousands of people to secure Tang San's release, and ultimately leaves Tang Yuehua's execution unchallenged because he prioritizes Tang San and the Clear Sky Sect. 125 181 238

Tang Hao's defining drive is vengeance against Martial Soul Hall. As losses accumulate—including Ah Yin, Tang Yuehua, and the Clear Sky Sect—his desire for retaliation becomes increasingly consuming. 168 249 262
