Background / History

Gu Yuena is the Silver Dragon King, a surviving clone of the Dragon God. She had concealed herself beneath the Lake of Life in the Star Dou Great Forest after surviving the Asura God King's attack, which left her with a Slaughter Curse Mark that tormented her for ten thousand years 2 31.

When the Chaos God selected nine contestants, Gu Yuena revived from her weakened state and entered the Chaos Realm. From the outset, she regarded the Asura God King as an enemy and viewed the assessment as an opportunity to restore the Soul Beast Race's path to godhood 2 9.

Appearance

Gu Yuena is a silver-haired woman whose hair falls to her calves. After recovering from her injuries, she is described as possessing fair skin, autumn-water-like eyes, immense natural dragon might, and an imposing noble presence 3 11.

As the Soul Beast Race's sovereign, she expects absolute loyalty. She rewards Ah Yin and Sky Dream Ice Silkworm for helping her, but reacts with anger when Ah Yin chooses to assist Tang San against her wishes 11 29 36. Revival and First Round

Gu Yuena awakens beneath the Lake of Life, is drawn into the Chaos Realm, and receives trial qualification as a deity. Ah Yin surrenders their Plant Affinity Test, allowing Gu Yuena to gain two extra rolls 2 11.

Her first extra roll grants the Divine Grade Guiyuan Pill, fully restoring her injuries and removing the Slaughter Curse Mark. Her second earns an Exchange Function Card, placing her at the Fourteenth Grid and first in the initial ranking 11 12.

Soul Beast Alliance

Gu Yuena chooses the Bountiful Harvest Function Card and names Ah Yin and Sky Dream Ice Silkworm as teammates. The three use their cards and positions to support her attempt to reach the Hundred-Grid Finish first 13 20.

Ah Yin later uses an Exchange Function Card to return Gu Yuena to the Twentieth Grid and receives three Soul Beast Cultivation Pills as a reward for her loyalty 29.

Punishment and Elimination Duel

After reaching the Twenty-First Grid, Gu Yuena is punished: her realm falls to First-Rank Deity and her position retreats ten grids. She immediately uses her Exchange Function Card on Tang San, taking his Eighteenth-Grid position 21.

Tang San later reverses the situation by taking her Invincible Function Card, imprisoning her, and exchanging positions with her. This leads to an Elimination Challenge Duel against the Asura God King 27 29.

Though she summons the seven Elemental Divine Powers, Dragon God Domain, and her dragon form, the Asura God King is declared the winner. Their battle's released power causes catastrophes throughout the Douluo World until Lin Yu intervenes to prevent further loss of life 31 32.

Dragon God Restoration Plans

Gu Yuena remains in the assessment and later obtains Golden Dragon King Essence Blood and an Auspicious Beast Egg. She believes uniting the Gold and Silver Dragon King powers may restore Dragon God power 38.

She subsequently imprisons the Asura God King with a Function Card, contributing to his final elimination from the assessment 43. By the sixth round, she obtains a Sky-Piercing Divine Jade Fragment and declares that gathering all three fragments could establish an exclusive path to godhood for the Soul Beast Race 49.
