Since they were already in Kalos, it was time for him to meet his parents.

Although Pokémon usually lost contact with their original families after being caught, as if they had left forever, blood ties could never truly be severed.

His Pyroar had been stolen by poachers while still in its egg. His parents, especially his proud Lion King father, surely missed their child.

This was the perfect chance to send his silly lion home to "visit his family" and ease that lingering concern.

He had first entertained this idea when they encountered the Pyroar pride before. Now was the perfect time to follow through.

Yan Yang told no one. Only Houndoom and Silvally, who had experienced the incident with him, knew why he was leaving early.

Sending his foolish big lion to meet his biological parents... that scene would definitely be entertaining.

Yan Yang wickedly wondered whether this guy would suffer a CPU overload and crash on the spot.

Would he still stupidly drool after meeting his Lion King father?

As for whether that intimidating Pyroar leader would blame him for raising his son into such a dense fool?
