The Pokémon that had always lived in this forest looked at one another, trying hard to remember. Odistar tapped his chin with a claw and spoke first. "Hmm... I think they came back once, not too long ago."
Yan Yang immediately perked up. "They're all doing well, right? How did they look?"
"Mm, they looked quite well. Full of energy, and their fur was sleek and glossy." Odistar thought carefully before nodding with certainty.
It seemed they had not run into any major trouble. That was good.
Yan Yang breathed a sigh of relief and asked, "Did they leave any message for me?"
"Well..." Odistar looked a little troubled. "They knew you'd gone to study in human society, so they didn't say much. They left again soon after. They only muttered something like, 'We finally came back, but he isn't here. What a letdown.'"
