Background / History

Pangu was born from the Thirty-Six-Petal Chaos Green Lotus, which he identifies as his “Mother God.” He cultivated the Great Dao of Strength, a path founded on breaking all laws through absolute force. Before the Great Tribulation of Heaven Opening, he regarded the coming calamity as his opportunity. 14 168 171

During the Great Tribulation of Heaven Opening, Pangu used the Heaven-Opening Divine Axe to split Chaos and create heaven and earth. When the three thousand Chaos Demon Gods attacked him for disrupting Chaos, he answered with a Heaven-Opening strike that annihilated them. The effort shattered the Chaos Green Lotus, the Heaven-Opening Divine Axe, and the Creation Jade Butterfly; Pangu subsequently transformed his body into the Primordial Era. 116 168 169 171

Pangu left inheritances throughout the Primordial Era, particularly beneath Buzhou Mountain. The site contained Ancient Diagrams chronicling major events, a gate inscribed with his creed, a fragment of the Creation Jade Butterfly, Pangu Jade Marrow, and the Nine Revolutions Divine Technique. His hidden will entered Yun Xiao after she opened the gate through her comprehension of the Law of Strength. 12 16 155

His Essence Blood continued to nourish the Twelve Ancestral Witches inside Pangu Hall. Pangu’s long-term design positioned the Witch Clan as “pioneers” who would obscure heavenly secrets and pave the way for the Human Race—“awakeners” meant to become the protagonists of heaven and earth. 56 80 170

Appearance

Pangu’s manifestations are consistently depicted as overwhelming, primordial figures whose physical presence distorts the world around them. His true form is vast enough to stand with feet upon the Primordial land and head in the starry sky. 81 127

  • Disheveled hair and a towering, muscular frame radiating immortal light 81 168
  • Veins bulging with power; his movements suggest the ability to shatter nothingness through strength alone 168
  • A faint Primordial Spirit mark appears between his brows after the Twelve Ancestral Witches empower his true body 127
  • His later will manifests as a weakened male phantom with the aura of a Primordial Supreme Limitless Grand Unity Golden Immortal 168

Personality

Pangu is defined by resistance against limitations. His creed—carving a path through strength when the Great Dao provides none—reflects his refusal to submit to established order, injustice, or seemingly impossible barriers. 13 155

Despite his immense power and far-reaching plans, Pangu is deeply paternal toward his descendants. He designed a path of survival for the Witch Clan and Human Race, intervened to save Houtu from annihilation, and considered those who uphold human ideals to be his children regardless of race or form. 155 170

He also bears profound regret over the Heaven-Opening Tribulation. Pangu acknowledges that the Chaos Green Lotus was shattered because of his actions and vows to seek out and restore its remnants should he attain the Great Dao. 171
