Primordial Wilderness: I am Hong Yun, Starting with a Saint Position to Exchange for a Wife Section 3
Some people were born able to command water and fire; others could make their words become law.
But after Hong Yun obtained the Great Dao Karma System, it meant that whenever he did good deeds, he would surely be rewarded!
If the other party accepted a benefit from Hong Yun, they would form karma with him.
The system could then force them to repay it, usually through treasures, spiritual items, divine abilities, cultivation techniques, and the like.
Each time, the system would grant Hong Yun one chance to draw a prize based on everything the other party possessed.
The prizes could be any of those things the other party owned.
If the other party had nothing at all and was utterly penniless, then it could seize their luck, heavenly allotment, and so on.
Using the system's power directly, it would create treasures and spiritual items for Hong Yun to draw.
As long as he could draw it, the system would provide it for Hong Yun!
"This system is the Great Dao Karma System. There is still room for growth. I hope the host will grow quickly and trigger a system upgrade!"
Hong Yun immediately grew even more excited.
When Hou Tu received Hong Yun's message, a faint blush spread across her face.
It was like going to a lecture with your siblings, only for a boy in the front row to suddenly call out:
"Come over here already! I saved you a seat!"
Hou Tu found it rather embarrassing!
Earlier, she had been traveling across the lands of the Primordial Wilderness.
She had only crossed paths with Hong Yun a few times, yet she had never expected him to be so enthusiastic!
Hou Tu quietly explained things to the other Ancestral Witches.
Dijiang chuckled.
"Since someone has invited you, then go."
Zhurong's hair was fiery red, like a blazing flame. He was also quite fond of the red-haired Hong Yun.
His eyes rolled, and he said with a broad grin, "Go. Not only are you going—we're all going!"
The other Ancestral Witches exchanged glances and felt that it was a good idea as well.
Hongjun was the first in the Primordial Wilderness to become a Saint.
Since a Saint was expounding the Dao, getting closer to hear what Great Dao he spoke of could only be beneficial.
The group of twelve crossed past the many people seated on the ground and headed toward Hong Yun at the very front.
Fortunately, Purple Cloud Palace was vast as heaven and earth, its space expanding automatically. There was no such thing as people crowding one another.
Before long, the Twelve Ancestral Witches arrived behind Hong Yun under Hou Tu's lead.
Hong Yun's original plan had been for Zhen Yuan Zi and himself to move faster.
The two of them would seize seats early together!
On the one hand, they would at least avoid forming karma with Kun Peng.
On the other hand, as long as neither he nor Zhen Yuan Zi gave up their seats, the two of them could obtain the opportunity of a Saint Position.
As long as one of them became a Saint, they would have someone to rely on in the future.
Yet despite hurrying as fast as they could, Kun Peng had still taken a seat before them.
Since things had returned to their destined course, Hong Yun felt helpless to the extreme.
The instant he saw the Twelve Ancestral Witches, another thought arose in his heart.
His original thought had been to give his seat to Hou Tu. Hou Tu was destined to become a Saint anyway, though she would be trapped within the Six Paths of Reincarnation.
If she obtained this opportunity and received the Primordial Violet Qi, could she change her fate?
Moreover, Hou Tu was backed by the Witch Clan at this moment.
When Jieyin and Zhun Ti came weeping and wailing for them to surrender their seats, aside from Kun Peng, which one of them could they bully?
Make Hou Tu give up her seat?
Were they itching to taste the Twelve Ancestral Witches' Great Heavenly God-Demon Array?
The moment this thought arose in Hong Yun's heart, the Great Dao Karma System activated.
However, since the Twelve Ancestral Witches had already arrived, Hong Yun first followed through with his earlier plan.
He rose to his feet, smiled faintly at Hou Tu, and said, "Little Sister Hou Tu, sit down quickly!"
Zhen Yuan Zi immediately shot him a sidelong look, stunned, his mind filled with little question marks.
"???"
"Didn't Little Brother Hong Yun say this seat held a great opportunity? Why did he suddenly want to give it to someone else?"
Zhen Yuan Zi could not help taking a careful look at Hou Tu.
Mm, her bearing truly was exceptional.
"Has Little Brother Hong Yun finally seen the light?"
As he thought this, he looked at Xuanming again, filled with regret.
Under Zhen Yuan Zi's piercing gaze, Hou Tu immediately sensed something.
She gave Zhen Yuan Zi a slight nod. She recognized him as well; he had always been inseparable from Hong Yun.
Then, somewhat shyly, she glanced at the others seated on the cushions. The Three Pure Ones and Nu Wa were all supreme great cultivators of the Primordial Wilderness.
Since they occupied these cushions, there had to be some immense fortuitous opportunity within them!
She and Hong Yun had only met a few times before. Their relationship had not reached the point where she could casually accept an opportunity that had originally belonged to Hong Yun.
So she said to Hong Yun:
"Thank you for your kindness, Fellow Daoist Hong Yun, but I will not sit."
Then she looked at the Ancestral Witches behind her and introduced them to Hong Yun:
"These are my elder brothers from my clan, and this is my younger sister, Xuanming. You have met her before."
"We'll sit behind you, Fellow Daoist. Being able to sit in the front row is already more than enough!"
Xuanming was breathtakingly beautiful as well, but she had always been cold as frost, her face expressionless.
Yet now, the corners of her lips lifted slightly as she said:
"You want to curry favor with my elder sister Hou Tu, so you offered her your seat. What about me?"
"Aren't you afraid I'll whisper bad things about you in my sister's ear?"
Hong Yun froze.
"I'm currying favor with Hou Tu?"
"I clearly wanted to borrow the Twelve Ancestral Witches' strength to muddy the waters!"
Fortunately, Hong Yun had come prepared.
Whoosh!
He tossed out twelve Jadeite Cushions, which landed one after another beside the Twelve Ancestral Witches.
Even the Three Pure Ones, Nu Wa, and Kun Peng were stunned.
You could bring these things yourself?
But upon closer inspection, the Jadeite Cushions Hong Yun had thrown out differed vastly from the cushions beneath them.
That profound Dao rhythm alone was something Hong Yun's cushions lacked.
A flicker of surprise crossed Xuanming's eyes before she gave a cold snort and sat down.
"Consider yourself passed, brat!"
Dijiang and the others chuckled as well, finding Hong Yun quite an interesting fellow.
All of them sat atop the Jadeite Cushions with broad smiles, surrounding the spot behind Hong Yun's seat in order.
Hou Tu smiled, finding Hong Yun rather amusing too.
"Fellow Daoist Hong Yun is still as entertaining as ever!"
She said to Hong Yun:
"Thank you for your kindness, Fellow Daoist Hong Yun. Since there are other cushions, I will sit with my elder brothers!"
Hong Yun immediately sat down on one of the Jadeite Cushions he had thrown out, leaving only the original seat belonging to Purple Cloud Palace.
With a helpless look, Hou Tu sent her voice to Hong Yun through divine sense:
"Fellow Daoist, there is great mystery in that seat. It must be a fortuitous opportunity. Do you not know? Why give it to me?"
