Reshaping the Origin Universe was not merely a matter of something called "sentiment."

Looking at it now, Tang Chuan's chance decision at the very beginning to raise a Sub-Universe as a source of Power of Faith for himself seemed rather superfluous.

For everything that happened afterward showed that, once the time came, Tang Chuan would have countless ways to reforge his Divine Core, kindle his divinity, and attain the status of a true god in this life. It had all been destined, and the Power of Faith supplied by the Origin Universe was practically dispensable to him later on.

But Tang Chuan at the time did not know that all his experiences had actually been within the grand course laid out by Calamity at his peak. He had thought that, since he had no bottlenecks to speak of, he only needed to pile up Power of Faith and acquire every kind of energy source to push himself to at least the level of a Demigod.

A Demigod—back then, a Demigod was still an unattainably lofty realm in Tang Chuan's eyes. He had thought that as long as he reached such a level, with the Divine Core in his mind, he would eventually become a true god. Then, the Origin Universe, already established by that point, could serve as his trusted force and help him avoid plenty of trouble. The trivial matters could all be left to his subordinates.

Now, without knowing the full story, one might also think that Tang Chuan's act of raising the Origin Universe had been unnecessary.

Yet Tang Chuan, whose cognitive memories had fully awakened, knew of the plan he had been preparing from the very beginning.

That was right. Because the critical nodes along his later path had all been arranged by his peak self,
