That night, Sun Busong stayed up talking with Whiteclaw.
This level-50 silver elite Arch Druid was formidable in both knowledge and combat prowess. The two of them had plenty to discuss, from the development of the Imperial Guard to the future of the continent.
In the end, Sun Busong took Whiteclaw's advice. He decided to upgrade Humar to blue quality first, then take Chi Tao and Heavy Fist to Warsong Gulch to compete in the resource allocation battle.
The entrance to Silverwing Hold was in Warsong Gulch. It lay in Ashenvale: from Grove of the Ancients, head southwest, pass Splintertree Post, then continue south through Felwood to a fork in the road. From there, take the path south and follow it all the way to Warsong Gulch.
Sun Busong told Whiteclaw why he had formed the Imperial Guard. After hearing him out, Whiteclaw gave him his full support.
The Night Elf race loved peace. They were close to nature and lived in harmony with plants and animals. Even members of the Horde Side rarely got into unnecessary conflicts with Night Elves, despite their allegiance to the Alliance Side.
Sun Busong proposed that Heavy Fist join him in entering Warsong Gulch as part of the Alliance Side to compete for resources. Whiteclaw agreed, but with one condition: Heavy Fist had to earn the approval of Darnassus's leadership. At the very least, his reputation with the Night Elf race had to reach Exalted.
For the Imperial Guard to grow, Sun Busong, as its commander, needed a certain level of strength, along with military achievements and a reputation that would earn the Alliance Side's recognition.
His reputation with the humans of Stormwind was only Friendly, while his reputation with the Dwarf race's Ironforge and the Gnome race's Gnomeregan had reached Honored.
