That evening, just as Deren returned to his room and Jaina went to take a shower, a bronze light flashed across Deren's bed, and Chromie's petite figure appeared on Deren's bed.

She looked exhausted, and her once lively face was now filled with anger.

"Deren!" she shouted as soon as she saw him, "The Dragon Race have gone mad!"

Deren fastened his robe and gestured for her to sit down. "Tell me slowly."

Chromie sat angrily on the edge of the bed, swinging her short legs vigorously, and said vehemently, "Alexstrasza imprisoned me! She said I was 'staying as a guest' for a few more days, and only recently let me come back."

"She's doing alright!" Deren laughed. "None of the Bronze Dragon warned you to take shelter. If I hadn't sent you to find Alexstrasza, they would have watched you perish in the Theramore's Fall."

"These bastards, not a single one of them can be relied on when it matters! I don't know what Nozdormu was thinking. Does he even know anything about the whole thing?"

Chromie gritted her teeth, "I was released and only then did I find out that several Blue Dragon had died and lost something important, but they wouldn't give a clear answer. It's just that thing, isn't it?"

So, you've got it sorted out, right? But since you let me out and Theramore is safe, you must have done a great job!

Deren up a chair and sat down face to face with the little Gnome: "Everything went smoothly, don't worry. Half the city is gone over there, boom!" He then made an explosion gesture.

Chromie grinned and laughed, "Serves you right! You stupid fool who messed around for no reason. But you're right, Deren. There's a force manipulating this whole thing. The orcs were just actors forced into it."

The Dragon Race were forced to cooperate in a miserable way. The few Blue Dragon sent out to handle the transport were all people who secretly opposed Malygos.

Was the Mad Dragon King truly insane? He didn't even lift a finger, just snapped several high-jumping creatures in half. And you got your hands on that thing too, didn't you? I bet you wouldn't just let such good stuff slip by."

Deren tapped his fingers lightly on the bed frame. "They let you back, or maybe they're using you to test you, Chromie. I suspect the Dragon Race already suspect someone has interfered with the artifacts."

If that thing were in our hands, you'd probably be tempted to handle it as soon as you returned, and they'd be able to sense that to some extent."

"So what do we do now? Can I just quit?" Chromie asked. "It would be such a waste to give up such a good thing. But it's not easy to hide, after all, it's an artifact they've kept safe for so many years."

Malygos can be found by his scent the moment he arrives. We might try to hide somewhere else, but we're afraid he'll get lost again, picked up by some powerful figure. We'll end up with nothing."

Deren smiled slightly, "I've already made up my mind. I'll let Elune take over this hot potato."

Chromie gave a thumbs up. "Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant, absolutely brilliant! Even the Night Elf are afraid that those orc fools will blow up the World Tree. Elune must be eager to acquire this artifact."

After thinking for a moment, she frowned and said, "I'm afraid those dragons will smell it and come looking for it. After all, it's something they sent from above, and Elune has to give them face."

Deren laughed and said, "Everything has been arranged. We've announced to the outside world that the thing has been given three divine Divine Grace: one to restore youth, one to teach Nature Magic, and there's one more chance for the gods to intervene."

The Dragon Race want the divine artifacts, so they should exchange them for these three items of equal Divine Grace.

Would the Red Dragon really sacrifice so much of its life force for the Blue Dragon's mess? Would the Blue Dragon be willing to relinquish all of its Dragon Race magic? And would all the Dragon Race ultimately promise to lend us their full support once in a while?

So if they're unwilling to give anything in the end, they naturally won't get the divine artifact. They can also use this as an excuse to give their superiors an explanation.

"Haha--" The little Gnome was already laughing so hard he was clutching his stomach on the bed, "This is hilarious, Deren, how come your brain is so convoluted? I really want to see the expressions on those idiots' faces after they've eaten shit."

Just then, Jaina walked in wearing only a thin nightgown.

Chromie was shocked to see that the person who came was Jaina instead of Onyxia. He was also surprised to see that Jaina's pajamas were made of breathable fabric despite being in the style of a mage's robe. He stared blankly at Deren, speechless.

After a long pause, he finally asked, "You, you, how did you get together? I clearly arrived before her!!"

Chromie, the veteran driver, was immediately taken aback.

Jaina shifted slightly, a barely perceptible blush creeping across her face. "Theramore needs me to give birth to an heir. Besides, both Deren and I are pure-blooded humans; this is a natural progression."

The little Gnome jumped three feet high, asking in surprise, "What about Onyxia? Does she know? She might tear Deren apart! Should I go and plead for her?"

She paced back and forth on the bed, saying worriedly, "It's over, it's over, I still can't beat Onyxia. That mother dragon is too possessive of her food, she won't tear me apart too, will she? I'll risk it all and fight her to the death."

As he spoke, he rolled up his sleeves and prepared to jump out of bed.

Just then, Onyxia's voice drifted in from outside the door. "Hey, who said they wanted to fight me?" She then opened the door and came in.

Chromie bared his teeth at the Black Dragon dragon, shielding Deren behind him. Given the significant height difference, the situation was both admirable and comical.

Onyxia suddenly covered her mouth and laughed, "What are you doing, you little dwarf? You dare to bare your teeth at me? You've got some nerve!"

As Chromie backed away, he pushed Deren with his back and shouted, "Deren, you go! I'll cover you!"

Then she was picked up by Deren and patted on the head. "Alright, Chromie, don't be nervous. This was done with Oni's permission."

He then said to the Black Dragon, "Stop teasing her. She just escaped from Northrend. She's got a lot of pent-up anger."

Onyxia then took the little Gnome from her. "Alright, thank you for your hard work. Don't disturb the good things happening here; I also have a lot to tell you."

The Bronze Dragon then realized the strange atmosphere in the room.

She shouted, "You, you, you actually agreed to let them sleep together? Is this really the selfish, vengeful, and possessive Black Dragon Onyxia I know?"

"You little dwarf, why are you using so many adjectives to describe me? Are you really tired of living?"

Onyxia was a little angry when Chromie said that about her. She grabbed Chromie and buried her in her arms.

"Help! Let me go! I can't breathe! This is murder!" Chromie wailed, drowning in a sea of soft, bouncy flesh.

After struggling for a few moments without success, she could only say, "I was wrong, please let me go, Onyxia, you are the most beautiful, generous, kind, and loving black dragon!"
