Pregnant
At breakfast time, Chromie came upstairs with Onyxia.
Deren was wearing an apron and busy in the kitchen, preparing hot millet porridge and delicious pastries, trying his best to appear as a good family man.
Little Chromie picked up the perfectly warm bowl of porridge, glanced at Deren sideways, and her eyes screamed "scumbag." Her little mouth pouted higher than the sky as she disgustedly finished the entire bowl of porridge, as if doing so would make Deren feel sorry for her.
Aegwynn also teleported over. Since Elune restored her youth, the old lady hasn't felt any sense of estrangement and visits the Deren family home anytime, sometimes forgetting that she's over a thousand years old.
She casually took a bowl, filled it with porridge, and began to drink, then let out a satisfied sigh.
Jaina finished getting ready and came downstairs, immediately greeting Aegwynn: "Teacher! You've arrived!"
The former guardian glanced at his equally young disciple, smiled, and nodded. "Not bad, I think this time it's a success."
Jaina looked back at her body in confusion, but found nothing amiss. She asked, "Teacher, what did you find?"
Aegwynn covered her mouth and chuckled, "In my opinion, you've probably been pregnant for a while. Now you should focus on taking care of yourself and stop staying overnight at Deren's."
Upon hearing this, Jaina covered her mouth, her eyes wide with disbelief.
Chromie threw down her spoon with a "thud," staring at Jaina in disbelief. "You, you, you're going to be a mother?"
Onyxia threw away the fork she had twisted and looked at Deren with a surprised expression.
Deren was quite surprised. He reached out and took Onyxia's hand, their eyes meeting in the air. Then, at the Black Dragon's signal, Deren rose and helped Jaina to sit down, gently preparing breakfast for her.
Chromie, standing to the side, watched the incredible scene before her, swinging her little feet thoughtfully.
Jaina, along with Anveena, also offered their congratulations to Jaina.
Just then, the doorbell rang. Jaina went to open the door, and outside stood the Windrunner Sisters.
Jaina quietly told them the latest news. Sylvanas's eyebrows were raised high, while Windrunner looked at Jaina incredulously, her eyes darting around, seemingly lost in thought.
"Excellent, excellent! Theramore has an heir; it's good news for everyone," Sylvanas loudly congratulated Jaina.
If Jaina has no children, and something unexpected happens, Theramore might be taken over by Kul Tiras. Although they are all family, those who followed Jaina to develop Theramore are more worried that they will be replaced by people from Kul Tiras.
With Jaina having a child, these people are more inclined to be ruled by Jaina and her child. This is indeed a great boon for the future political stability of Theramore.
Windrunner then ran to Jaina's side and whispered, "It's not Deren's, is it?"
Jaina nodded shyly. The little ranger was so surprised he couldn't close his mouth, and secretly gave Jaina a thumbs up. Then, while rolling his eyes, he sat down next to his sister, constantly looking at Deren and then at Onyxia.
Breakfast ended in an odd atmosphere. Aegwynn used a teleportation system to take Jaina Theramore's master away; she still had a lot of business to attend to.
Furthermore, since Aegwynn promised to take Anveena as his disciple, he should teach her properly and not let her Fish Dragon, good-for-nothing like his second disciple.
Somewhere in the Mage Tower, a forgotten Black Dragon is taking a nap. Nefarian is content to enjoy his carefree, unsupervised life as Fish Dragon.
Since that rutting, crazy, and stupid Blue Dragon left, he occasionally works the night shift, but otherwise Aegwynn basically ignores him and lets him slack off as he pleases.
Anyway, Blackrock Mountain is gone, so there's no way to do a bunch of terrible experiments, and his own teacher Aegwynn, wouldn't let him do them.
That's life for Long Sheng. He might as well just lie down and be a lazy bum. With that thought, he stretched comfortably, turned over, and continued sleeping.
"Jaina Proudmoore!" A thunderous voice suddenly boomed from outside the Mage Tower, "Hand over Eye of the Storm!"
Nefarian was so startled that he rolled to the ground, rubbing his sleepy eyes, before he sensed the powerful presence of a Dragon Race outside.
He quickly jumped out of the window, then revealed his dragon form, confronting the enormous Blue Dragon outside.
"A Black Dragon? The evil dragon is hiding in the Mage Tower in Theramore. It seems those orcs weren't lying to me. My artifact was indeed stolen by you!" The Blue Dragon on the other side roared angrily.
Nefarian stretched out his dragon claws and counted how long it had been since he'd done anything wrong. Oh no, he couldn't even count with both claws.
He couldn't argue with the Blue Dragon opposite him, but then he remembered a certain silly and crazy Blue Dragon, and a happy smile appeared on his face.
"What are you laughing at? Is it so funny to see Malygos's wrath?" The person opposite him was none other than Malygos, the Blue Dragon King.
The name of the dragon, the shadow of the tree. Even Nefarian, if he were stupid, would know that the opponent was a tough nut to crack, not someone he could handle. But he couldn't just run away either; if the Mage Tower was damaged, his teacher would probably cook him alive.
Fortunately, my younger sister is also in the city and should be able to come and help soon. There's also my teacher and my senior sister Jaina; these are all top-tier fighters. Together, they should be enough to deal with this old rogue Dragon King.
As expected, the Arcane Flash of Teleportation appeared, and Aegwynn appeared next to Nefarian with Jaina.
The former guardian showed no fear of the menacing Blue Dragon King, instead questioning, "Have the Aspect Dragons now stooped so low as to plunder mortal cities?"
"Don't slander me. I'm just looking for the Dragon Race artifact. The orcs say you stole it." Seeing the powerful former Guardian, Malygos began to act rationally and politely.
"Oh, so you took the orcs' accusations to heart and are demanding the artifact from us?" Aegwynn sneered. "What if we didn't steal it and can't hand it over?"
"Then let me search and prove your innocence," Malygos said, giving them a chance.
"Oh, that's amazing! There are actually people in this world who use the pretext of a missing artifact to ask me to search for it."
Deren, sitting on Onyxia, also arrived at the Mage Tower, only to find the most blatant mockery.
"Oni, next time if our cake goes missing and the mice tell us the Blue Dragon stole it, can we go to the Nexus to search for it?"
"How dare you! A mere mortal dares to disrespect the great Aspect Dragons?" Malygos was furious. If Onyxia weren't there, he probably would have rushed over and killed Deren with a single Dragonfire.
"Alright, stop with the nonsense. You act like you're so great and reasonable. If you want to fight, I'll beat you until you talk the talk. If you want to talk the talk, I'll go search for the Nexus."
Deren picked at his ear, showing no respect whatsoever to the mad Dragon King king. This infuriated the dragon, who was now raging with rage, yet utterly helpless. Finally, he turned to Jaina: "You are the master of Theramore, hand over the artifact now!"
First update.
