Leiluo arrived atop the city wall and looked at the chaotic ogres before asking Saxi beside him, "Saxi, based on your experience, how many ogres are there?"
"Chieftain, judging by my experience, there are probably a battalion—one thousand—ogres," Saxi quickly answered.
"Chieftain, what do we do? We don't even have a full company of men!" one of the warriors beside him asked.
"We can't let them get in, Chieftain. If they get inside, then our people..." Saxi said anxiously beside Leiluo.
"How about we form a spearhead and kill the ogre chieftain directly? These ogres can't even keep their formation together. With you leading us, Chieftain, there shouldn't be a problem!"
"Saxi, the leader of these ogres is the ogre who captured the Behemoth some time ago!" Leiluo's tone was heavy. A decapitation strike was definitely impossible. Saiyba was a Heroic Rank Ogre Mage—if they tried to take his head, they might not know whose hand would get chopped off instead. But if they did not attack, Bandar City's recently built wooden walls would have a hard time holding back nearly a thousand ogres.
"Hey, little brother Leiluo, why'd you run off so fast?" Just as Leiluo was considering how to face the enemy, a large hand slapped his shoulder from behind. Turning around, Leiluo saw Leolox stuffing his face with a roasted Pigger Beast leg.
"But little brother, these Pigger Beasts of your Rock are really good. Munch—when are you going to give some to us Moknasa? Munch."
Watching Leolox talk to him while gnawing on the leg, Leiluo felt as though a flock of crows had flown over his head.
"Big Brother Leolox, you should go rest in the back. This matter—" Before Leiluo could finish, Leolox's greasy hand slapped him on the head.
"What rest? I have way more experience fighting ogres than you do. You're telling me to rest? You've got screws loose!" After saying that, Leolox wiped the hand that had smacked Leiluo's head on his clothes, apparently finding it dirty after touching Leiluo's head, then picked up the Piggish Foot and continued gnawing on it.
Leiluo had been somewhat moved by Leolox's loyalty, but now his forehead was covered in black lines.
"And based on my experience, munch, your walls definitely can't stop these ogres. You don't have enough men either. Munch. I think you should have a few warriors with good aim, munch—"
"Big Brother, can't you finish eating before you talk?" Leiluo was even more speechless seeing Leolox talk to him while eating.
"Munch, munch, all right, all right, I'm done." Leolox wolfed down the Piggish Foot in his hand, then savoringly licked every one of his fingers.
"Don't blame me, little brother. Blame your Piggish Foot for being too delicious."
Still savoring the taste, Leolox saw Leiluo's face growing darker and quickly wiped both hands on his clothes. He then said seriously, "Huh? Where was I?"
Everyone who had thought Leolox was about to get serious nearly collapsed.
"Lord Leolox, you were saying that we should find a few warriors with good aim." Garona quickly took over, not daring to let Leiluo speak for fear that he would explode.
"Oh, right. Find a few warriors with good aim and use this wooden wall." As he spoke, he patted the city wall. "Use ranged methods as much as possible to reduce the ogres' numbers, and then—"
Leolox looked at Leiluo. "Little brother, you have beast oil, right?"
Hearing Leolox's words, Leiluo, who had once lived in the age of information explosion, immediately understood. He continued, "Big Brother, are you thinking of coating the walls in beast oil, then waiting until the ogres climb onto the wall—"
The two exchanged a glance and blurted out together, "Burn the ogres!"
After saying that, the two burst into laughter.
They immediately got to work. Leiluo had Garona and Saxi lead all the orc warriors recruited from the barracks in shooting the ogres with arrows.
Meanwhile, he took all the beast oil out of the warehouse and led the remaining men with Leolox to coat the walls.
Leiluo's panel was truly impressive. The orcs recruited from the barracks were skilled in all eighteen martial arts, and each had their own background, their own joys and sorrows. Yet they were all absolutely loyal to Leiluo.
Watching his subordinates get shot down one after another, Saiyba remained utterly unmoved. They were merely tools for his rise to power. As long as he could help Lord Gul'dan reclaim the Behemoth this time, perhaps he could become the Chieftain of the Twilight Hammer Clan. At that thought, Saiyba's heart burned with excitement as he shouted, "Quick! If you don't want to die, hurry up and break through that wall! As long as you break through, everything inside is yours! Move!"
Hearing Saiyba's words, the ogres cheered as they charged rapidly toward the city wall.
"My lord, we're out of arrows over here!"
"Chieftain, we're out of arrows too!"
Before long, both Garona and Saxi had exhausted their arrows. However, Leiluo's side had also finished their work.
"Little brother, retreat!"
"Hey, Big Brother, what's the rush? How about we make a bet?"
"What kind of bet?" Leolox was immediately interested.
"Let's stay on the wall and see who kills more, shall we?" Leiluo said teasingly to Leolox.
"Sure, no problem. I lost to you in the martial arts tournament, but I won't lose to you at this."
"My lord!"
"Chieftain!"
"All right, Garona, Saxi, take the men back first. Enter the cave."
The two had wanted to remain behind, but upon hearing Leiluo's order, they could only lead the men away.
Only Leiluo and Leolox remained atop the city wall, battle axes in hand as they watched the ogres draw ever closer.
"Fireblade Clan Sword Saint, what's the point of hiding? We won't pursue you either. Why don't you just leave?"
"Yeah, we don't have any real grudge against each other. You should just go."
Hearing the black-robed orcs' words, Lantresuo could not help but sneer. "No grudge? If I hadn't moved quickly just now, I'd have ended up no different from that pit."
"And you're helping Saiyba, aren't you?!"
"That makes us mortal enemies!"
The leading black-robed orc roared angrily upon hearing Lantresuo's words. "You're nothing but a remnant of the Fireblade Clan! The entire Fireblade Clan belongs to our lord now. What good will it do to keep obstructing his plans?"
"Heh. The lord you speak of is Gul'dan, right? One day, I'll take his head. But you won't live to see it." Lantresuo's cold voice came from the air, as chilling as his Longsword.
"Hmph, anyone can talk big. With you—"
Before the black-robed orc could finish speaking, a dark-red Longsword had already pierced through his throat. His Felhound vanished along with him.
The other four were about to strike back when Lantresuo had already used Mirror Image. Four Lantresuos retreated into the distance at once, leaving the black-robed orcs with no idea whom to attack. Then his ice-cold voice sounded through the air once more. "Four left."
