Background / History

Kazeka was an ordinary transmigrator who entered the body of a Hyuga branch-family member. Orochimaru subsequently captured and experimented on him, attempting to extract scientific knowledge from ninja minds and transfer it into Byakugan users. Kazeka retained his sanity after Orochimaru's expulsion from Konoha, but emerged with an intense fixation on dissection, bodily modification, and experimentation. 1

Recognizing both the knowledge in his mind and his substantial contributions to weaponry, barrier seals, and medicine, the Third Hokage placed Kazeka in Konoha's Technical Development Bureau. The village nevertheless treated him as a persistent danger because of his unauthorized experiments on villagers, clan animals, prisoners, and fellow ninja. 1

Kazeka began enhancing Hinata Hyuga through medicine and surgery, increasing her combat ability while causing unstable personality shifts. He justified the work as necessary to unlock her potential and strengthen the Hyuga clan. 3 4 9

Research consistently takes precedence over ordinary duties. During the second stage of the Chunin Exams, he spent five days conducting experiments after Team 8 had already secured its scrolls, nearly missing the deadline. 48
