Background / History

The World Consciousness first contacted Jerry after he erected the Sky Pillar. It explained that the God Realm had long siphoned Soul Power from Douluo World through restored entrances, slowing the world's development. Jerry's Spirit Gathering Arrays redirected that energy back into the world, earning its friendship and accelerating advancement prospects 199.

It regarded cultivation as desirable so long as cultivators remained within its authority. After the first advancement, it claimed it could control beings below the God King level who had not fully mastered a rule domain; it would only interfere with those it considered likely to escape control, leave the world, or endanger it 219.

The World Consciousness later manifested for Jerry's rule-exchange meeting with the Fairy Queen and Silver Dragon King. It shared rule knowledge, improved its Space, Creation, and Destruction mastery, and took control of Jerry's connected secret realm so that life born there would be recognized by the main world 223 224.

While observing replicated worlds, it became alarmed by the possibility that Douluo World itself was being watched by higher “Observers.” It disclosed that the Asura God had taken the World Core, an event it viewed as a humiliation and a continuing threat to its authority 227 228.

After several Small Worlds catastrophically failed their advancements, the World Consciousness absorbed their remaining space and World Origin. Its relationship with Jerry deteriorated after it learned of the barrier around the Douluo Star System and became fearful of a possible Dragon God revival.
