Chapters 227–248 Vol. 3 Read

Ch. 227The Witch Clan's thirteenth Ancestral Witch, Taiyi's path

Chi You inherited Houtu's blood essence and became the Witch Clan's thirteenth Ancestral Witch, allowing the Twelve Dutian Divine Fiends Formation to summon a stronger Pangu True Body. Meanwhile, Taiyi advanced his comprehension of the Chaos Bell and approached the threshold of proving the Dao with strength, but still awaited an opportunity to take the final step.

  • Chi You endured Houtu's Ancestral Witch Blood Essence and transformed into the Witch Clan's thirteenth Ancestral Witch.
  • Dijiang and the other Ancestral Witches welcomed Chi You, who pledged to defend the Witch Clan and carry on Houtu's will.
  • Dijiang led the twelve Ancestral Witches in activating the Twelve Dutian Divine Fiends Formation, which formed a more solid Pangu True Body with Chi You occupying Houtu's reincarnation position.
  • The Ancestral Witches drilled with the formation, and Chi You resolved to improve his mastery of the Reincarnation Law.
  • Taiyi comprehended the Law of Power within the Chaos Bell until his cultivation reached the threshold of Hunyuan.
  • Taiyi concluded that he needed an opportunity to unleash his own decisive axe stroke before he could prove the Dao with strength.

Ch. 228The Dao Ancestor's invitation

Dijun searched for the ownerless Primordial Violet Qi while Taiyi advanced toward proving the Dao with strength, and Hongjun summoned them to Zixiao Palace to guide their cultivation. After teaching them how to pursue their respective paths, Hongjun proposed that Haotian and Yaochi join the Heavenly Court to help with its administration.

  • Dijun searched the Primordial Wilderness for the Primordial Violet Qi as his obsession corpse began to loosen, while Taiyi reached peak quasi-saint in seclusion.
  • Hongjun opened a passage to Zixiao Palace, and Dijun and Taiyi entered together.
  • Hongjun told Taiyi that mastering the momentum of heaven and earth would help him find the opportunity to prove the Dao with strength.
  • Hongjun told Dijun to sense the Heavenly Dao's breathing rather than search for the Primordial Violet Qi with divine sense, and explained that clearing the noise in his will would help him sever his obsession corpse.
  • Hongjun proposed that Haotian and Yaochi take posts in the Heavenly Court to assist with its administrative duties.

Ch. 229Hongjun Made His Move, and the Demon Marshals Were Displeased

Dijun and Taiyi accepted Hongjun’s attendants Haotian and Yaochi into the Heavenly Court, giving them civil and diplomatic offices while reserving military power for the Demon Clan’s rulers. After the appointments spread, the Demon Marshals rebelled against being ranked below the newcomers, and Bai Ze arrived to stop them.

  • Dijun accepted Hongjun’s proposal and asked Haotian and Yaochi to define their offices, while Taiyi declared that military command would remain with him and Dijun.
  • Haotian took charge of the Palace of Governance, and Yaochi took charge of the Palace of Rites, both ranking above the Ten Great Demon Marshals.
  • Dijun formally appointed Haotian and Yaochi, who transformed into imposing full deity forms and accepted their new positions.
  • News of the appointments spread through the Thirty-Three Heavens, and nine Demon Marshals gathered to protest their new rank beneath Haotian and Yaochi.
  • As the Demon Marshals prepared to confront Dijun, Bai Ze entered the hall and ordered them to stop.

Ch. 230Calamity Rose in the Primordial Wilderness, and War Erupted Between Witches and Demons

Bai Ze persuaded the demon marshals to accept Haotian and Yaochi’s civil appointments while the Heavenly Court kept military authority under Dijun and Taiyi. Chi You then destroyed a Demon Clan outpost, triggering a full Witch-Demon war, and Dijun ordered the Great Array of the Stars activated as both sides prepared for battle.

  • Bai Ze explained that Haotian and Yaochi’s appointment connected the Heavenly Court to Dao Ancestor Hongjun and did not threaten the demon marshals’ military authority.
  • Haotian organized the Heavenly Court’s civil administration, while Yaochi revised its ceremonial regulations and the demon marshals accepted their roles.
  • Chi You led Houtu Tribe greater witches to a Demon Clan outpost and destroyed it with one punch, openly declaring war.
  • Dijiang ordered the Witch Clan to war, and the Ancestral Witches rallied hundreds of thousands of greater witches at Buzhou Mountain.
  • Dijun ordered the Demon Clan to meet the Witch Clan head-on and assigned its forces to activate the Great Array of the Stars.
  • Taiyi sounded the Chaos Bell as the Star Lords took their positions and the Great Array of the Stars illuminated the Primordial Wilderness.

Ch. 231Stars of the Heavens vs. Dutian Divine Fiends

The Twelve Ancestral Witches and the Demon Clan's Heavenly Court unleashed their greatest formations against each other before Buzhou Mountain, with neither side gaining the upper hand. As the battle continued, powerful figures across the Primordial Wilderness watched or prepared to remain neutral, while Xuande stayed unaware in seclusion refining the Creation Azure Lotus.

  • The Twelve Ancestral Witches formed the Pangu True Body, which struck the Great Array of the Stars, but Taiyi used the Chaos Bell and the stellar web to withstand most of the blow.
  • Dijun attacked the Pangu Phantom with Solar True Fire, and Chi You replenished its wounds with reincarnation fiendish qi as Gonggong and Zhurong launched a combined water-and-fire assault.
  • Taiyi counterattacked with the Chaos Bell, while the Ancestral Witches coordinated their powers to shift, protect, and restore the Pangu Phantom; the Ten Great Demon Marshals, Haotian, and Yaochi supported the Heavenly Court's defenses and logistics.
  • Laozi, Yuanshi, and Tongtian watched from Kunlun Mountain, while Nuwa observed from Wa Huang Palace and Houtu watched Chi You from the Underworld without being able to leave.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti chose to keep the Western Sect neutral, and Zhenyuanzi and Hong Yun protected Wuzhuang Temple while hoping the fighting would end soon.
  • Xuande continued refining the Creation Azure Lotus in Brahma Sound Cave, unaware of the full outbreak of the Witch-Demon Tribulation.

Ch. 232The Pangu Axe, the Three Pure Ones' stance

The Twelve Ancestral Witches burned their blood essence to summon the Pangu Axe Phantom, forcing the Great Array of the Stars to face an attack that could cleave laws themselves. The Three Pure Ones suppressed their treasures rather than join the battle, while Dijun and Taiyi prepared to defend the array as the axe began to fall.

  • Gonggong urged the Twelve Ancestral Witches to burn their blood essence and summon the Pangu Axe Phantom, and Dijiang agreed after Chi You vowed not to retreat.
  • The Twelve Ancestral Witches ignited their blood essence and summoned the Pangu Axe Phantom from the River of Time.
  • The Taiji Diagram, Pangu Banner, and Chaos Bell resonated with the phantom, but Laozi, Yuanshi, and Taiyi each suppressed their treasure to keep it from answering the call.
  • Yuanshi told Tongtian that the Three Pure Ones would remain neutral, warning that reuniting the three treasures could bring down Buzhou Mountain and devastate the Primordial Wilderness.
  • Dijun ordered the Star Lords to concentrate the array's power at the front, while Taiyi raised the Chaos Bell to protect its core.
  • The Pangu Phantom began to bring down the axe, imposing the law of division upon the Great Array of the Stars.

Ch. 233Hongjun Appeared

The Twelve Ancestral Witches shattered the Great Array of the Stars with three Pangu Axe strikes, leaving Dijun and Taiyi exposed to a killing blow. Just as the fourth strike descended, Hongjun appeared and stopped it, bringing the battlefield to a standstill.

  • Dijun, Taiyi, Kunpeng, Changxi, Xihe, and the Star Lords held back the Pangu Axe Phantom's first blow, but the array suffered heavy damage.
  • The Pangu Phantom struck the array's flank with its palm and followed with two axe blows, breaking its main load-bearing axis and destroying the Great Array of the Stars.
  • Dijun, Taiyi, Kunpeng, Changxi, and Xihe were left gravely injured as the Twelve Ancestral Witches prepared a fourth strike aimed at Dijun and Taiyi.
  • Hongjun appeared between the axe blade and the Sun Star formation core, dissolved the blade's law of division, and halted the strike.

Ch. 234Xuande faced off against Hongjun

Xuande intervened to protect the Twelve Ancestral Witches when Hongjun began dismantling their formation, forcing Hongjun to impose a three-Kalpa truce between the Witch and Demon Clans. After Hongjun departed, both clans withdrew to recover, and Xuande accompanied the Witches toward Buzhou Mountain.

  • Hongjun dispersed the Pangu Axe Phantom and prepared to dismantle the Dutian Divine Fiends Formation before Xuande arrived and shielded it with his lotus platform.
  • Xuande stood against Hongjun, who warned that obstructing the Heavenly Dao had incurred karma and then decreed that neither clan could renew hostilities for three Kalpas.
  • Dijiang protested that the truce favored the wounded Demon Clan, while Hongjun argued that both clans were necessary to maintain balance in the Primordial Wilderness.
  • Xuande accepted that the Witch Clan would not initiate hostilities but demanded equal Heavenly Dao punishment if the Demon Clan broke the truce; Hongjun then vanished.
  • Dijun ordered the Demon Clan to withdraw, while Dijiang led the exhausted Witches back toward Pangu Hall.
  • Xuande helped Chi You to his feet and followed the Twelve Ancestral Witches toward Buzhou Mountain.

Ch. 235Xuande's standing rises

Xuande confronted Hongjun to protect the Twelve Ancestral Witches and preserve the Dutian Divine Fiends Formation, accepting that the Heavenly Dao recorded karma against him. Across the Primordial Wilderness, allies and rivals recognized his resolve and the Western Sect’s rising standing, while Houtu vowed to repay his kindness.

  • Xuande stood between Hongjun and the Twelve Ancestral Witches, shielding the Dutian Divine Fiends Formation and promising that the Witch Clan would not initiate war for three kalpas.
  • Laozi, Yuanshi, and Tongtian discussed Xuande’s courage and resolve, with Tongtian admitting he might not have dared defy Hongjun himself.
  • Nuwa watched from Wa Huang Palace as Fuxi explained why she could not intervene, and she promised Wa Huang Palace would help Xuande if he needed it in the future.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti agreed that Xuande had upheld the Western Sect’s Way of Merit and raised its prestige, though Hongjun’s recorded karma could threaten Xuande’s future attempt to attain Hunyuan Wuji.
  • Zhenyuanzi and Hong Yun praised Xuande for protecting the Witch Clan and raising the Western Sect’s standing, while Houtu wept with gratitude and resolved to repay him.

Ch. 236A way out for the Witch Clan

Xuande proposed that Houtu create a domain within the Six Paths of Reincarnation where Witch Clan members could serve as guardians and persist as divine office holders after death. Houtu confirmed the plan was feasible and agreed to establish it, while Xuande returned to Buzhou Mountain to inform Dijiang and the other Ancestral Witches.

  • Dijiang and the other Ancestral Witches thanked Xuande for saving them from Hongjun, and Xuande warned that the Witch Clan needed a secure way out before the next war.
  • Xuande went to the Underworld and told Houtu that the Witch Clan’s lack of reincarnation made its battle losses irreversible.
  • Xuande proposed binding living Witch Clan members to reincarnation law so they could return as guardians after death without entering reincarnation.
  • Houtu deduced that she could create an independent domain for Witch Clan divine office holders, who would retain their memories and cultivation as Dharma Bodies after death.
  • Houtu explained that the contracts required loyalty to the Underworld, only suited Witch Clan members at least at the Heavenly Immortal level, and could initially accommodate three thousand; she proposed selecting two hundred and fifty from each of her twelve elder brothers’ ranks.
  • Houtu said she would open the domain in the depths of reincarnation, and Xuande departed to convey her proposal to Dijiang and the other Ancestral Witches.

Ch. 237Hou Yi, Kuafu, and the Reincarnation Guard

Xuande brought Houtu’s proposal for reincarnation contracts to the Twelve Ancestral Witches, who selected three thousand elite warriors and formed them into the Reincarnation Guard. The warriors arrived in the Underworld, where Houtu welcomed them as the new domain of the Six Paths of Reincarnation took shape.

  • Xuande told the Twelve Ancestral Witches that three thousand Heavenly Immortal-level witches could sign Reincarnation Law contracts and continue serving in the Underworld after death.
  • Dijiang and the other Ancestral Witches selected two hundred and fifty warriors from each of the thirteen tribes, while Xuande explained that the Ancestral Witches themselves could not safely sign the contracts.
  • Chi You proposed forming the selected warriors into the Reincarnation Guard, with Kuafu and Hou Yi as acting commanders, and Dijiang approved the plan.
  • The thirteen tribes chose their elites, and three thousand Greater Witches assembled before Pangu Hall three days later.
  • Xuande led the three thousand warriors through a passage into the Underworld, with Kuafu and Hou Yi at their head.
  • Houtu welcomed the warriors before the Reincarnation Disk and told them to rise.

Ch. 238Guest Elder of the Witch Clan

Houtu branded three thousand witches as Reincarnation Guards and determined that the Six Paths of Reincarnation could sustain up to eighteen thousand. Xuande reported the limit to the Ancestral Witches, accepted their offer to become a Guest Elder, and left as the tribes began selecting more guards.

  • Houtu engraved Reincarnation Marks on three thousand witches, including Kuafu and Hou Yi, and established a camp for them in the Underworld.
  • Houtu calculated that the Six Paths of Reincarnation could support eighteen thousand Reincarnation Guards and told Xuande to inform Dijiang.
  • Xuande returned to Buzhou Mountain and reported the limit, prompting Dijiang to order the tribes to select another fifteen thousand elites within seven days.
  • Dijiang invited Xuande to become the Witch Clan's first outsider Guest Elder, and Xuande accepted while promising the Western Sect would shelter the Witch Clan.
  • Dijiang escorted Xuande from Pangu Hall as the tribes began selecting candidates under Zhujiuyin's Law of Time.

Ch. 239Taiyi entered seclusion, Changxi gave birth

Xuande returned to Mount Sumeru and entered seclusion to stabilize his Four Symbols Cycle, while Taiyi also sealed himself away to pursue Hunyuan. As Dijun and Changxi recovered together, Changxi gave birth to ten Golden Crow princes, who hatched beneath the Fusang Tree and received their names from Dijun.

  • Xuande returned to Mount Sumeru, discussed his unstable Four Symbols Cycle with Jieyin and Zhunti, and entered seclusion in Brahma Sound Cave.
  • Taiyi reviewed his clash with the Pangu Axe Phantom and vowed to remain in seclusion until he attained Hunyuan, while Dijun promised to guard the Heavenly Court.
  • Dijun and Changxi blended their sun and Taiyin origins as they recovered, and Changxi discovered that she was carrying ten lives.
  • Changxi nurtured the ten Golden Crow eggs to maturity and gave birth to them, and Dijun placed them on the Fusang Tree to absorb Solar True Fire.
  • The ten Golden Crow princes hatched together, and Dijun named them Bo Huang, Zhong Lang, Shu Kun, Ji Wen, Shao Xun, You Ying, Shu Jing, Ji Yan, Shao Cong, and You Wan.

Ch. 240The Human Race Treasure Emerges

Dijun and Changxi secretly settled their ten Golden Crow children on the Fusang Tree to protect them from danger. Meanwhile, the Kongtong Seal emerged at Shouyang Mountain, drawing powerful figures whose arrival left the Three Ancestors of the Human Race preparing to determine its fate.

  • Kunpeng persuaded Dijun to cancel the public celebration and hide the ten Golden Crows on the Sun Star, and Changxi agreed with the plan.
  • Dijun and Changxi placed the ten Golden Crows on the Fusang Tree and shielded them with sun restrictions and a Taiyin Perception Barrier.
  • The Kongtong Seal emerged from Shouyang Mountain, and Laozi, Yuanshi, Tongtian, Nuwa, Jieyin, Zhunti, Witch Clan representatives, and Kunpeng set out to witness its appearance.
  • Dijun sent Kunpeng to Shouyang Mountain with ten Fusang leaves as a gift to express the Demon Clan's goodwill toward the Human Race.
  • Suiren Shi, Youchao Shi, and Ziyi Shi prepared to receive the arriving powers, while Laozi, Yuanshi, and Tongtian arrived and declared that they would witness the ceremony without claiming the seal.

Ch. 241The Human Race must stand on its own

Nuwa and the other factions attended the Human Race’s ceremony as the Kongtong Seal chose Suiren Shi, Youchao Shi, and Ziyi Shi. Nuwa refused their request to take charge of the seal, telling them to guard their own fortune and forge their own destiny, then departed for Wa Huang Palace.

  • Nuwa blessed the Human Race, while Jieyin and Zhunti conveyed Xuande’s regards; Goumang and Xuanming presented a protective talisman, and Kunpeng brought ten Fusang leaves on behalf of the Demon Clan Heavenly Court.
  • The Kongtong Seal flew to Suiren Shi, and Youchao Shi and Ziyi Shi placed their hands over his as the Human Race’s fortune returned to its own keepers.
  • Suiren Shi and the other two Ancestors knelt and asked Nuwa to take charge of the Kongtong Seal, but she told them the Human Race must hold its own fortune and walk its own road.
  • Suiren Shi accepted Nuwa’s teaching, and she blessed the Three Ancestors with Creation Power.
  • Laozi, Yuanshi, Tongtian, Jieyin, Zhunti, Goumang, Xuanming, and Kunpeng each offered words or support before departing Shouyang Mountain.
  • Nuwa entrusted the Human Race’s affairs to the Three Ancestors and flew into Chaos toward Wa Huang Palace.

Ch. 242The Heavenly Sovereign Governed the World, Human Marriage Was Established

Fuxi understood his karmic bond to humanity through the Kongtong Seal and borrowed Nuwa’s Red Embroidered Ball to establish human marriage and surname rules. After nine couples made the first marriage pledges at the Ancestral Land, a pillar of crimson and gold Human Dao Fortune rose, and Nuwa sensed humanity’s new order from Wa Huang Palace.

  • Suiren Shi placed the Kongtong Seal on the Ancestral Land’s altar, where it merged with the sacred land’s aura.
  • Fuxi contemplated the seal, saw humanity’s past and possible future through the Bagua, and noticed a newborn boy named Xuanyuan in the records.
  • Fuxi traveled to Wa Huang Palace, where Nuwa lent him the Red Embroidered Ball and warned that marriage must be based on mutual affection, not coercion or trade.
  • Fuxi returned and announced plans to establish nine great surnames, forbid marriage within a surname or clan, and record formal genealogies.
  • Fuxi proclaimed the institution of Human Marriage as nine couples made pledges before the Kongtong Seal and Red Embroidered Ball.
  • The two treasures’ fortunes combined into a crimson-and-gold pillar that rose from the Ancestral Land, and Nuwa sensed humanity’s progress from Wa Huang Palace.

Ch. 243The Heavenly Emperor, Human Dao Saint

Fuxi established the Human Race’s calendar, official posts, and music, then used the resulting merit and Human Dao Fortune to prove the Dao of human relations and become a Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal. The Primordial Wilderness recognized the Human Race’s new Hunyuan guardian, and its allies prepared to celebrate and support the race.

  • Fuxi established the Twenty-Four Solar Terms, assigned Youchao Shi to record the calendar, organized the Human Race’s officials, and created the Se and its first piece, Jiabian.
  • He meditated before the Kongtong Seal as Heavenly Dao Merit and Human Dao Fortune descended upon him, breaking his cultivation bottleneck.
  • Fuxi attained the Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal realm, becoming the ninth Hunyuan-level existence and the Human Race’s first.
  • Laozi, Yuanshi, and Tongtian recognized Fuxi’s path of proving the Dao through human relations, while Nuwa offered him a distant bow.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti praised Fuxi’s attainment and planned congratulatory gifts for the Human Race.
  • Dijiang ordered Goumang to prepare a lavish gift, and Chi You offered to bring Greater Witches to help build a new altar.

Ch. 244Gathering authority, Dijun's bid to become the Demon Clan's Sage

After Fuxi attained Hunyuan through Human Dao Fortune, Dijun resolved to follow a similar path and gather all Demon Clan authority and fortune under his control. The chapter ended with Dijun entering seclusion to use that fortune in his attempt to attain Hunyuan.

  • Fuxi attained Hunyuan as the Human Race's guardian, and Zhenyuanzi, Houtu, Xuande, and Dijun reacted to his breakthrough.
  • Dijun concluded that Demon Race Fortune could help him attain Hunyuan and told Kunpeng he would reclaim the Demon Master's authority.
  • Kunpeng willingly surrendered the Demon Master Hall, while Taiyi agreed to give up the authority attached to his title as Eastern Emperor.
  • Bai Ze and the other Demon Marshals accepted Dijun's decree and returned their military authority to him.
  • Dijun gathered the Demon Clan's authority and fortune, then entered secluded cultivation to attempt to attain Hunyuan.

Ch. 245Ancestor of Literature Cangjie, the Obsession Corpse Returns to Its Place

Fuxi recognized a newborn in the Cang Tribe as deeply connected to Human Race fortune and raised him as Cangjie, who devoted his life to creating human writing. After his characters earned Heavenly Dao Merit and Human Dao Fortune, Cangjie recovered his past-life memories and understood his place as the other half of Xuande’s Great Dao, while Fuxi recognized him as Xuande’s Obsession Corpse.

  • A newborn in the Cang Tribe stirred golden cultural light, and Fuxi named him Cangjie and brought him to the Ancestral Land to teach him.
  • Cangjie studied the forms of nature and Fuxi’s Bagua, developing a system of characters built from basic strokes and pictographic forms.
  • Cangjie carved thousands of characters onto bamboo slips, causing them to resonate with the laws of heaven and earth and establish writing for the Human Race.
  • Heavenly Dao Merit and Human Dao Fortune raised Cangjie from a mortal to Peak Primordial Origin Golden Immortal.
  • The seal of Cangjie’s past life opened, revealing his memories as Xuande’s Obsession and his role in bringing civilization and inheritance into the Primordial Wilderness.
  • Fuxi realized that Cangjie was Xuande’s Obsession Corpse.

Ch. 246Yang Mei returned, Rahula appeared

Xuande emerged from seclusion as Yang Mei and the resurrected Rahula returned to the Primordial Wilderness seeking the Pangu Dao Fruit. Hongjun refused to share it and entered Chaos to face them, leaving the three powerful beings poised for battle.

  • Cangjie completed his transformation as Xuande’s Obsession Corpse after creating writing for the Human Race, while Fuxi watched and understood his identity.
  • Xuande emerged from seclusion with his Four Symbols Cycle perfected, and Jieyin and Zhunti acknowledged Cangjie’s achievement.
  • Xuande sensed Yang Mei approaching from Chaos with Rahula, whose demonic body and cultivation had been restored after his remnant soul escaped into the Abyss of Demonic Energy.
  • The Hunyuan-level beings across the Primordial Wilderness sensed Yang Mei and Rahula’s arrival, and Hongjun appeared to confront them.
  • Yang Mei and Rahula demanded that Hongjun share the Pangu Dao Fruit, but Hongjun refused and stepped into Chaos to fight them.

Ch. 247All Sages Gather in Chaos, the Western Gods Appear

Yang Mei brought gods and armies from other worlds into Chaos and demanded that the Primordial Wilderness let him take Hongjun’s Pangu Dao Fruit. The sages and the Witch, Human, and Demon armies united to oppose him, and the chapter ended with war imminent as Xuande and Yahweh sized each other up.

  • Yang Mei watched the eight Hunyuan cultivators of the Primordial Wilderness gather and told them he wanted Hongjun’s Pangu Dao Fruit.
  • Yang Mei opened a spatial gate and summoned Zeus, Odin, Yahweh, otherworldly gods, and vast armies from their realms.
  • Xuande challenged Yang Mei’s assumption that the Primordial Wilderness was an ordinary world, as Witch, Human, and Demon armies arrived to defend it.
  • The three races stood with the sages against Yang Mei’s forces, and Jieyin warned that they would not let an otherworldly god or demon enter their homeland.
  • Yang Mei declared that each side would rely on its own abilities and used spatial passages to channel otherworldly laws and fortune onto the battlefield.
  • Xuande shielded the allied armies with his Merit Golden Lotus while Yahweh studied his Great Dao Blessing, and war hung in the balance.

Ch. 248Hongjun leaves the Primordial Wilderness, Xuande breaks through, and the Earth Marriage is fulfilled (Grand finale)

Hongjun and the Primordial Wilderness forces defeated the invading gods and demons, after which Hongjun left with the Demon Clan while Xuande broke through to Hunyuan Wuji. Xuande and Houtu then joined the Human and Earthly Dao legacies and held their Earth Marriage on Mount Sumeru.

  • Hongjun defeated Yang Mei, Xuande killed Rahula, and the Primordial Wilderness forces defeated or subdued the otherworldly gods and demons.
  • Hongjun chose to leave the Primordial Wilderness, and Dijun, Taiyi, and the surviving Demon Clan followed him; Dijun entrusted the ten little Golden Crows to Fuxi.
  • Xuande entered seclusion on Mount Sumeru and emerged as a Hunyuan Wuji Daluo Golden Immortal with a Thirty-Six-Petal Chaos Golden Lotus.
  • Houtu left the Six Paths of Reincarnation, and the Witch and Human races presented Xuande and Houtu with tokens of their authority; Fuxi passed the Human Emperor position to Ji Xuanyuan.
