Xuande entered Chaos, united the Three Lotuses, and attained Hunyuan while the Great Dao revealed a path beyond the Heavenly Dao. After Hong Yun relinquished his Primordial Violet Qi, Xuande and the Western Sect defeated the Three Pure Ones in a contest for the Creation Azure Lotus, which Xuande took to Mount Sumeru to refine.

• Xuande left for Chaos, united the origins of the Three Lotuses, and broke through to Hunyuan with the Great Dao’s blessing.
• Xuande returned to the Primordial Wilderness and helped Northern Mystery transform into human form, then visited Houtu and promised to protect the Witch Clan when needed.
• Yuanshi founded the Chan Sect and attained Great Dao Sagehood, then Tongtian founded the Interception Sect and attained the same realm.
• Xuande advised Hong Yun to relinquish the Primordial Violet Qi, and Hong Yun released it and advanced to late quasi-sage through the Great Dao’s merit.
• Xuande discovered the Creation Azure Lotus beneath Buzhou Mountain, and he and Jieyin and Zhunti agreed to settle their claim against the Three Pure Ones through a witnessed contest in Chaos.
• Xuande claimed Tongtian’s four swords during the battle, then returned them after Tongtian conceded, while Jieyin and Zhunti also won their matches against Laozi and Yuanshi.
• Houtu and Nuwa awarded the Creation Azure Lotus to Xuande, who returned to Mount Sumeru and began refining it in Brahma Sound Cave as Jieyin and Zhunti guarded the site.
