Background / History

Will transmigrated into the pirate world and initially became stranded on a deserted island. After receiving a system-assisted body reshape, he built a raft to leave the island, only to be shipwrecked in a storm. The fishing elder Aster rescued him; Will chose to travel with Aster out of gratitude and to adapt to the world. 1

His system rewards Purity Points for combat, which he uses to obtain talents, physical enhancements, and skills. His first documented draw, Innate Divine Strength, made ordinary people physically fragile by comparison and intensified his search for strong opponents. 2

After defeating Treasure and his pirates, Will forced Nami and Carina to remain with him because he needed a navigator. 8 His notoriety escalated through repeated clashes with pirates, Marines, World Government agents, and Celestial Dragons, eventually earning him the epithet “Madman Will.” 123
