Background / History
Star Dou developed around Chen Fu’s technological and political projects, combining human and Soul Beast populations under a shared administrative system. Its early institutions included the Star Dou Engineering Institute and the Star Dou Military Political Academy, which trained personnel for a planned state built around ability-based advancement rather than inherited status 104 107.
The state’s infrastructure expanded rapidly through the Heavenly Dao mental network, Battle Soul Instruments, advanced Soul Tools, and military formations. Star Dou also sought to reduce the battlefield dominance of individual Titled Douluo by developing mass-accessible cultivation, equipment, and organized military power 160 268.
The Star Dou Sentient Republic was formally established with a Governor System and Electoral System. Chen Fu became its first Supreme Governor, while the Sword Pavilion was created as an independent body overseeing the state’s transcendent combatants 234.
Following the Truth City conflict, Ju Zi was crowned Empress Dawn and concentrated authority in a temporary military dictatorship to direct the war effort 289.
