The idea came from the legendary figure whose tales had been passed down through the Ninja World for ages: the Sage of Six Paths.
According to legend, after the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo Otsutsuki, sealed away the Rabbit Goddess and brought peace to the warring world, he sealed the Ten-Tails' husk inside the moon and entrusted Hamura Otsutsuki with guarding it.
At the same time, he divided the Ten-Tails' energy into nine parts, giving birth to the Nine Tailed Beasts, from the One-Tail to the Nine-Tails.
His goal was to prevent the Ten-Tails from reuniting, thereby ensuring the Rabbit Goddess would be sealed away for good.
But what if the process were reversed?
That was the famous Infinite Tsukuyomi Plan.
Of course, Madara and Obito had received false information. Black Zetsu had altered it, and they were nothing more than sacrifices in another plan: the "Black Zetsu Saves His Mother Plan."

Every Evolution Equation followed the rules of logical probability.
As long as it wasn't logically inconsistent and the probability wasn't zero, the Evolution Equation would work.
Once he supplied the materials and charged it to 100%, the evolution would succeed.
Even if the odds were only one in a quadrillion in theory.

The two equations Kazama Kaguya had successfully completed before had both followed the same rules of logical probability.

A giant of energy gripped it in its hand. The sword spun endlessly, wrapped in a visible storm, as it came crashing down with tremendous force.
"Shisui activated Susanoo???"
Kazama Kaguya's face changed. He hurriedly took flight, dodging the attack slashed down by Susanoo.
The grass-green Spiral Sword swept past him, followed closely by a terrifying blast of wind. With a single strike, it cleaved through the Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave Kisame Hoshigaki had unleashed.
Boom!
The sea exploded, and countless sharks were chopped into pieces.
The earth split open as the Spiral Sword plowed a deep trench through it.
A deafening boom echoed through the Forest of Death.
The storm sent Kazama Kaguya tumbling away. He widened his eyes and looked over.
A giant, roughly 120 meters tall, stood on the earth, gripping a Spiral Sword seventy or eighty meters long. Grass-green flames shimmered across its body, and it radiated an awe-inspiring presence.
It hadn't grown wings and wasn't yet in its complete form, but simply standing there, it exerted a terrifying pressure that made people tremble.
"Over a hundred meters tall. That's ridiculous," Kazama Kaguya exclaimed.
He'd seen Sasuke's and Madara's Susanoo forms before, each two or three hundred meters tall, but that had only been animation. Now he was seeing one in person.
The shock and impact of seeing something so enormous with his own eyes made his scalp go numb.
The entire Forest of Death had fallen silent after that mighty strike.
Ten kilometers away, more than a hundred deer in the Nara Clan's deer park tucked their tails between their legs and cowered on the ground, trembling.
A Chunin from the Nara Clan, responsible for maintaining the deer park, leaped into a tree. He stared from afar at the Susanoo, its emerald flames shimmering like those of a demon god, his eyes filled with shock.

Even the Kikaichū under his control had been frightened. They flew about chaotically, ignoring his commands.
Just then, Shisui Uchiha suddenly raised his eyes and looked toward Kazama Kaguya.

At his command, Susanoo raised the Spiral Sword again and said coldly, "Or did you steal the Hyuga's Byakugan? Kirigakure has done that before."
"A Kirigakure spy? No, I'm with Root."
Kazama Kaguya stayed wary of Susanoo's attack and tried to use [Talk no Jutsu: Confuse the Audience]. He nodded toward Aburame Ryoma.
"Lord Aburame Ryoma, we only just helped Lord Danzo carry out a great plan. Are you going to kill the horse after it's hauled the cart?"
"Infighting within Root?" Shisui Uchiha paused, his murderous intent easing slightly.
When he and Aburame Ryoma had fought Kisame Hoshigaki just now, they hadn't exchanged many words. He had no idea what had happened within the Hyuga Clan.
Aburame Ryoma's expression changed. He immediately denied it. "Don't listen to him. He's a spy sent by Orochimaru. He stole the Hyuga's Byakugan, and I'm here under Lord Danzo's orders to hunt him down."
He took control of his Kikaichū again, directing his killing intent at Kazama Kaguya. Then he addressed the giant Susanoo meaningfully.
"Shisui Uchiha, this is Lord Danzo's will. You know very well what the Uchiha Clan's situation is like."
The Uchiha Clan was already being targeted by Danzo at every turn. If they went against him now, their situation would only grow more difficult.
Shisui understood what Aburame Ryoma meant.
His fierce killing intent returned.
He glanced at Kisame Hoshigaki, who was panting heavily, then at Kazama Kaguya, who could fly. Their figures grew blurry as he thought:
"My vision is deteriorating fast. I have to finish this quickly. I'll deal with the more mobile one first."
"Susanoo, slash!"
