Background / History

Iris is a Reshaper: a reincarnated Wizard whose memories from a previous life can gradually return, allowing unusually rapid magical growth. She is one of several known Reshapers associated with the Dawn Council, alongside Elvily, Isha, Kate, and Adeph. 46

She first meets Sean in the Void Arts Space after he survives the Witch Hunter ambush. Introducing herself as Elvily's friend, she immediately recognizes Sean's potential and teasingly points out Elvily's interest in him. 15

As Sean learns to navigate the Void Arts Space, Iris becomes his most approachable source of occult knowledge. She explains spell branches, combat styles, and the respective advantages of ranged and melee Wizards, while also finding Sean's daring and guarded nature intriguing. 19

Warning Sean Before the Book Signing

Iris and Elvily find Sean meditating on North Street to warn him about danger from the police in Old Sigel City. Iris helps Sean understand the benefits of Sanctuary meditation and presses him about his suspicious dream of Elvily. 26

Floris Hospital Operation

Iris joins Elvily and Isha in the assault on Floris Hospital, where the Floris Family's ambush leaves their forces heavily outnumbered. She fights with lightning magic, vows revenge against the operation's possible informant, and witnesses Sean's True Formula sealing the Holy Grail Festival formation. 38

When Zajik's puppet attacks Elvily, Iris attempts to block the strike before Sean intervenes. She later exploits Sean's Truth Maze to kill trapped orderlies and takes command of the remaining operation after Elvily carries Sean away. 39 40

Recovery and Aftermath

Iris watches over Sean during his recovery in a secret hospital and openly teases him over his interest in Elvily. She informs him that the Floris Hospital morgue is empty, then helps him process the possibility that the Floris Family uses human bodies for Puppet Technique. 41 42
