Background and History

Yuki seeks a world without Cursed Spirits. She considers exorcism a treatment of symptoms rather than the source and studies whether humanity could stop producing Cursed Energy; enabling everyone to control it is another possibility she considers. Her research draws her to Shinsuke Zenin, whose Heavenly Restriction leaves him with no Cursed Energy. After four or five years of examining him without useful results, she considers giving up that line of inquiry 2 14.

She rarely accepts missions from the Jujutsu World's higher-ups because she disagrees with their ideals, leaving her short of money despite her Special Grade rank. During a visit to Jujutsu High, she explains her goal to Geto Suguru, whose own beliefs are in crisis 1 14.

Yuki's long friendship with Shinsuke becomes romantic. After they begin dating, she resumes traveling to investigate the source of curses; Shinsuke declines her invitation to join her work. She later brings him information about strange events abroad that may be connected to Kenjaku, and they consult Tengen together 35 36 61.

During the Shibuya crisis, Yuki intervenes against Kenjaku and helps protect sorcerers trapped by Uraume's ice. She challenges Kenjaku's plan, arguing that concentrating Cursed Energy in one country could provoke a wider catastrophe 99. Later, she and Choso stay to guard Tengen. When Kenjaku reaches them, Yuki fights him, but Tengen's attempted countermeasure causes both opposing domains to collapse 107 121 122.

Years after the battle with Sukuna, Yuki and Shinsuke have a daughter, Kanon Zenin. Yuki is present when the Himulia Aliens' conflict with humanity is resolved 153 181 196.

Appearance

Yuki has long blonde hair and large, bright eyes. At her first appearance, she wears a fitted black T-shirt and blue jeans 1.

Personality

Yuki is playful and direct with Shinsuke, pursuing him openly despite his initial reluctance. She also remains committed to her research after they start dating, choosing to travel rather than abandon her goal 35 36. In battle, she can use conversation to buy time, as she does while allies escape Uraume's ice 99.

Yuki's Cursed Technique adds overwhelming mass to her body or her shikigami, Phoenix Wheel. A mass-enhanced kick destroys a Special Grade Cursed Spirit, while her punch sends Kenjaku through the surrounding space 121.

• Applies the technique to herself and Phoenix Wheel 121.
• Can charge Phoenix Wheel into a dark sphere resembling a miniature black hole; Yuta later activates her black-hole technique against Sukuna 143 144.

Barrier Techniques

• New Shadow Style: Simple Domain — Temporarily resists the sure-hit effect of Kenjaku's domain 121.
• Domain Expansion: Star Core Prison — Creates a barrier with a black sphere that devours matter except Yuki and her contact points. Its clash with Kenjaku's domain ends when Tengen's analysis collapses both domains 121 122.

Relationships

• Shinsuke Zenin — Longtime research subject, later her partner and Kanon's father. Yuki shows concern for him when he is injured and follows his advice before confronting Kenjaku 1 35 100 110 196.
• Kanon Zenin — Her daughter with Shinsuke 153 181 196.
• Tengen — An uneasy acquaintance. Yuki questions Tengen's decisions about Star Plasma Vessels and stays to protect them, but their plan against Kenjaku fails 107 118 121 122.
