Background / History

Genki transmigrated into the Ninja World ten years before the Uchiha clan massacre. Found and adopted by Uchiha Hazuki, he was raised alongside Izumi, whom he regarded as an older sister. He waited for a means to alter the clan's fate, but when Itachi blocked their escape, Genki attempted to save his family by revealing secrets concerning Sasuke, Indra, and the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. 1 2

White Zetsu's ambush led Hazuki and Izumi to take fatal blows intended for Genki. His grief awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and the soul-devouring powers Magatsunokami and Ōkuninushi. The abilities consumed the souls of slain Uchiha—including Hazuki and Izumi—reducing them to empty shells within his domain. The resulting guilt, pain, and flood of absorbed memories shattered his sanity. 3 4 5

Driven by vengeance, Genki attacked Konoha with a colossal Susanoo, killed Fugaku, forced Itachi to kill Sasuke, and then killed Itachi after devouring his soul. His conflict with Hagoromo escalated into devastation across the Ninja World; after Hagoromo sealed him at the cost of his life, Genki struggled within his spiritual world against the countless souls he had absorbed. 13 17 18 22 28 29

Genki recovered his identity through his obsession with Hazuki and Izumi, absorbed Hagoromo's soul, and set out to destroy other lands while gathering the power needed to restore them. Appearance

After absorbing Hagoromo's soul, Genki's appearance changed dramatically: he had long dark hair, clear and profound eyes, and a crimson robe marked with Uchiha crests. 31
