The Third Shinobi World War had erupted, and all of Konoha had mobilized.
"Lord Byakuya, Anbu has sent word..."
"They've invited the Uchiha Clan to attend a strategy meeting in the conference room at the Hokage Building..."
Uchiha En came before Byakuya and reported.
"A strategy meeting? ...I understand..."
"I'd like to see what that old coot Hiruzen Sarutobi is up to..."
After receiving the news, Byakuya headed straight for the Hokage Building.
When Byakuya entered the conference room, he saw Hiruzen Sarutobi seated at the head of a large conference table.
On either side of Hiruzen sat Konoha's two elders, Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura.
Below them sat the heads of Konoha's various ninja clans.
As Byakuya walked in, everyone in the room turned to look at him.
As the heads of Konoha's great clans, they had all heard about what Byakuya had been doing lately.
They were also extremely curious about the man who dared to challenge Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Hokage.
"Representative of the Uchiha Clan! You're here..."
"Take your seat..."
Hiruzen spoke calmly when Byakuya arrived.
It was as if he didn't care at all about what Byakuya had done before.
That alone showed just how deep the old schemer's game ran.
However, unlike Hiruzen, Koharu and Homura couldn't hide their feelings, and looks of disgust crept onto their faces.
It was all because of that bastard Byakuya that their two clans had suffered heavy losses.
Right now, they wished they could kill Byakuya on the spot and take back everything he'd stolen from them.
Unfortunately, Byakuya was simply too powerful.
Faced with his overwhelming strength, they had no choice but to fume helplessly.
At Hiruzen's words, Byakuya looked toward his seat.
He saw that the Uchiha Clan's designated seat was at the very end of the
