Zhu Zhuqing was born into the Star Luo Empire’s noble Zhu Family as its fourth daughter. She was betrothed from childhood to Dai Mu Bai, the empire’s third prince, through the longstanding marriage alliance between the Zhu and Dai families 83 84 87 90.

Both families enforced brutal succession contests: unsuccessful competitors could be killed or imprisoned. Zhu Zhuqing grew up under her elder sister Zhu Zhuyun’s oppression and repeated attempts to kill her 84 134 239.
