Background

At age nine, Qian Renxue agreed to infiltrate the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace after an argument with Bibi Dong. She assumed the identity of the Crown Prince, Xue Qinghe, and spent twenty years maintaining the deception so Martial Soul Hall could eventually seize Heaven Dou's power and unify the continent. 122 224

Following Emperor Xue Ye's death, Qian Renxue succeeds to the Heaven Dou throne as Xue Qinghe. She accepts Ye Wen's proposal to enforce a continent-wide prohibition against arbitrary Soul Beast hunting, recognizing that Soul Beast extinction would ultimately also cripple human Soul Master cultivation. 244 245
