Authority and Structure
The God Realm is a higher plane governed by the God Realm Committee, whose five God Kings are its highest authorities: the Asura God, God of Destruction, Evil God, Kind God, and Life Goddess. Major decisions require discussion among them rather than unilateral action by any one God King. 264
| Divine Rank | Position in hierarchy |
|---|---|
| God King | Highest known divine rank; the five Committee members hold this level. 264 |
| Level One God | Elite true gods beneath God Kings. The realm originally has eighteen Level One God positions. 69 204 |
| Level Two God | Mid-high divine rank, including the God of Slaughter. 266 |
| Level Three God | Lowest listed rank of true god. 34 230 |
| God Official | Divine official without a Divine Seat; nevertheless invincible in the Douluo mortal realm. 34 |
God Realm Law Enforcement Team
The Asura God serves as the God Realm's highest law enforcer and commands its dedicated Law Enforcement Team. 248
- The team includes multiple Level Two Gods, several dozen Level Three Gods, and numerous God Officials. 248
- Its reconnaissance division is led by mentally powerful Level Two Gods, while the God of Slaughter commands its combat-oriented division. 266
- A combined early deployment against the Beast Gods fielded five Level Two Gods, twenty Level Three Gods, and one hundred God Officials. 266
Laws and Policies
Non-interference in mortal affairs
Gods are forbidden from directly interfering with mortal-world development and events. Indiscriminate slaughter in a mortal plane is treated as prohibited interference. 273
The rule is frequently circumvented or contested. Thunder God secretly merged divine power into Ye Wen's Heavenly Tribulation through lightning rather than descending in person, avoiding immediate detection by the Committee. 34 203
Restriction on Soul Beast ascension
The God Realm maintains a longstanding rule that Soul Beasts may not obtain godhood or ascend into the realm. 34
- Soul Beasts cannot normally inherit or independently condense Divine Seats. 69
- The restriction followed the ancient conflict involving the Dragon God and was intended to prevent Beast Gods from returning to the realm. 264 265
- The Asura God and God of Destruction favor eliminating newly discovered Beast Gods, while the Kind God and Life Goddess advocate honoring past agreements and avoiding extermination. 264 265
Jurisdiction and Divine Seats
The God Realm governs more than one hundred lower planes, including the Douluo Mortal Realm. 197 230
- Douluo Star is the closest governed mortal realm and lies south of the God Realm. 315
- One day in the God Realm equals one year in the mortal realm. 266 308
- Mortal beings usually require a Divine Seat to surpass Level 99, reach Level 100, and ascend. 69
- Divine Seats are limited by the realm's capacity; too many Seats would exceed what the realm can sustain. 268
- The God of Destruction supports expanding the God Realm by annexing other divine realms, thereby increasing its capacity for Divine Seats. 268 322
God Realm nexus
A God Realm depends on a nexus: a massively condensed energy core that serves as the source of divine power and maintains the realm itself. 318
Ordinary God Kings cannot create a God Realm merely through combined strength, as its creation requires the power of creation in addition to overwhelming divine power. 318
Notable Locations
- God's Forbidden Land — Prison of the Golden Dragon King; heavily defended because its escape could lead to the Dragon God's return. 290
- God Realm Forest — A holding area for beast-type beings below God-tier; it is less heavily guarded than the Forbidden Land. 290
- God Realm Gate — A divine passage used for ascension between mortal planes and a God Realm. 382 383
History
Detection of the Beast Gods
The realm first becomes directly threatened when Ye Wen condenses Beast God divinity in the Douluo mortal realm. The resulting beastly divine-power fluctuation reaches the God Realm and alarms its God Kings and Level One Gods. 263
The five God Kings convene to determine whether the emerging Beast Gods should be accepted or destroyed. A three-to-two vote authorizes their elimination, despite the objections of the Kind God and Life Goddess. 264 265
The Asura God subsequently orders the God of Slaughter and the Law Enforcement Team to descend, investigate, and kill any Beast Gods found without returning for further instructions. 266
Conflict with Ye Wen's Beast Gods
After Ye Wen's faction develops multiple God Kings and Level One Beast Gods, the God Realm escalates its response. Sea God and Thunder God lead a crusading force of two Level One Gods, twenty Level Two Gods, one hundred Level Three Gods, and five hundred God Officials. 272
Ye Wen's group later infiltrates the God Realm itself to free the Golden Dragon King and imprisoned beast-type beings. Their attack on the God's Forbidden Land and God Realm Forest throws the realm into chaos and forces the Seven Elemental Gods to intercept them. 291 292
The Five God Kings ultimately halt their immediate pursuit after suffering severe losses, choosing recuperation and future planning over another direct engagement. 301
Rise of the Beast God Realm
Ye Wen creates the independent Beast God Realm in the star domain, giving Beast Gods their own nexus, Divine Seats, and route of ascension. 317 318
The Human God Realm regards the new realm as a growing threat. The God of Destruction openly argues that conquering and absorbing it would expand the Human God Realm's capacity. 322
After years of preparation, the Human God Realm launches a full invasion intended to destroy the Beast Gods and annex their realm. 372
Second God Realm War
Before battle, Ye Wen proposes a united realm governed by laws that would allow humans and beasts to coexist equally. The Asura God rejects the proposal and insists that war decide the future of both realms. 381
The conflict formally begins as the second God Realm War between the Human God Realm and the Beast God Realm. 387
Military Strength
| Rank | Human God Realm forces at the outbreak of war |
|---|---|
| God Kings | 5 |
| Level One Gods | 16 |
| Level Two Gods | 202 |
| Level Three Gods | 1,630 |
| God Officials | Over 10,000 |
| Total force | 11,853 387 |
Despite its overwhelming numerical advantage, the Human God Realm is outnumbered in God Kings, Level One Gods, and Level Two Gods by the Beast God Realm at the start of the war. 383 387
