Background / History
Konoha was founded upon the Senju and Uchiha clans. Although many Senju had dispersed and integrated into village life, the clan remained one of Konoha's two founding pillars, making threats to Senju heir Nawaki politically explosive. 12
During the war preceding Chapter 32, Konoha fought on several fronts, including the Land of Whirlpools and the Land of Rain. The village ultimately emerged victorious, while its forces suffered substantial losses. 4 6 24 32
Following victory, Konoha recovered quickly: residents celebrated, businesses held war-victory sales, and Hiruzen's prestige reached its height. 32 Its stability remained threatened by clandestine activity, including Danzō's Root, clan tensions, and foreign attempts to seize bloodline holders. 11 12 17
