Makoto was reborn into the shinobi world with memories from a previous life. Rather than pursuing grand ideals from the beginning, he sought an exciting and secure life for himself while avoiding the attention of dangerous people 1. Born to Konoha shinobi Higashino Jiro and Higashino Megumi, Makoto grew up in a stable household rather than as an orphan.
