Background / History

Sasuke was born as Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha's second son in Konoha Year 51. Fugaku named him after Sarutobi Sasuke, the late father of the Third Hokage, as a gesture of respect toward the Hokage's lineage. His elder brother Itachi was openly delighted by Sasuke's birth and regarded him as another version of himself. 126

As a child, Sasuke trained at Higashino Makoto's dojo alongside other future Konoha ninja. Though reserved around people outside his family, he wanted companionship and gradually made friends among his peers.
