Background / History

In his previous life, Zhao Bai was a food enthusiast who studied Chinese cuisines and researched Japanese, Russian, Spanish, and Italian dishes. He also recreated fictional dishes from Chūka Ichiban! and Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma before transmigrating into the Honkai world. 3

After arriving at St. Freya Academy, he spent two years adapting to an arsenal of Honkai weapons that initially worked only on ingredients. He became a reserve male Valkyrie while operating a restaurant inside the academy, where he discovered that his cooking could cure Honkai corruption and heal suicide soldiers. 3
