Jiraiya, what kind of person is he? He used a telescope to peep into the women's bathhouse since he was young, and after becoming a ninja, he even dragged his master, Hiruzen Sarutobi, along to peep.
Any beautiful adult woman would be lusted after by him like a jackal or a tiger.
But faced with Naruto's pressing questions, he just shook his head and dodged, finally getting angry and pushing Naruto away before turning his back.
This made Naruto even more convinced that Jiraiya's intentions were impure. "Old lover? The two of you are having an affair behind his boyfriend's back?"
"Damn it! What nonsense are you spouting, kid! Tsunade and I are just pure friends! I haven't even touched her chest!"
Speaking of chests, Jiraiya couldn't help but recall Tsunade's ample bosom that filled her kimono. She was as flat as a washboard when I first met her, how did she grow so big later? It's outrageous...
"You haven't even touched her?"
"No," Jiraiya shook his head regretfully.
"Do you want to touch her?"
"Yes!" Jiraiya's eyes blazed with lust again, his face flushing.
Naruto coaxed him, "She's your age, already old, her chest must be..."
"Impossible! Tsunade is terrified of getting old! She'll at most maintain the appearance of a thirty-year-old!"
"Stop talking, let's go. I understand your feelings now." Naruto looked up and patted his chest confidently, "Let me teach you how to win over this woman named Tsunade!"
Jiraiya was stunned. He thought of the scene where Naruto was surrounded by girls, and how he, the veteran, had taken him to find bikini beauties.
He also thought of how he had waited for Tsunade for most of his life, and she had never given him the slightest opportunity.
He sighed sadly.
The Great Toad exploded into smoke, leaving behind two bags of already packed luggage.
Naruto took off his patient gown and changed into a trench coat. "Where do we find her?"
"I don't know," Jiraiya hoisted the bags. "Let's look at the casinos."
"She gambles a lot?"
"She's addicted to gambling."
Naruto looked at Jiraiya, remembering Orochimaru, and combining it with his description of Tsunade.
Good heavens, the Legendary Sannin, involved in gambling, prostitution, and drugs.
The two then shouldered their bags and set off in a random direction.
Hokage Building Tea Room.
Danzo knelt on the straw mat, looking at the two advisors opposite him. "Jiraiya refused to become Hokage, why didn't you let me take over? Why did you agree to his suggestion to find Tsunade? Can that girl be a good Hokage?"
The old advisor, named Mitokado Homura, put down his teacup. "Based on seniority, you are naturally qualified."
The old woman, named Utatane Koharu, held her teacup with both hands. "But Tsunade, as one of the Sannin, the First Hokage's granddaughter, is pure and upright. She's also a renowned Medical Ninja who saved countless lives during the Third Shinobi War. Her reputation can convince the masses."
Danzo's expression was blank, but his messy hair was exceptionally disheveled. "The Third invited Tsunade back many times, but she always refused and avoided it."
Mitokado Homura: "We believe she has the ability to be Hokage, just as we believe you can act as Hokage. Koharu, what do you think?"
"Yes, I think so too."
Danzo had already expected Jiraiya not to accept the position, and planned to become the official Hokage step by step through acting as a proxy.
But Tsunade's sudden appearance was undoubtedly ruining his dream and was irresponsible towards Konoha, which he deeply loved.
He narrowed his eyes and said, "I understand."
Utatane Koharu: "Then we will take our leave."
Mitokado Homura: "Everything is for the continuation of Konoha."
Danzo was numb. These two old guys were the epitome of sinecures.
Every time they proposed a useless plan, and someone refuted it with a new idea, the two old guys would say, "Then we'll do as you say."
They had no stance whatsoever.
But for Danzo to move from behind the scenes to the front, he needed the certification of these two advisors to endorse his resume.
Otherwise, very few people would even recognize him.
The two old guys must have thought it was too troublesome and there were too many obstacles, so it would be easier for Tsunade to return and take office with a wave of her hand.
Danzo touched his right hand, which was wrapped in bandages, and slowly unwrapped it, revealing skin as pale as a tree, and two scarlet Sharingan embedded in his palm and the back of his hand.
As he slowly unwrapped it, his entire forearm was exposed, with a total of ten eternally open Blood Wheel Eyes gazing at him.
He smiled, a stiff face smiling heartily.
This was his achievement, the great result of completely annihilating the Uchiha Clan.
He had made such a great contribution, yet he could not make it public. No one could talk about it, and no one would understand.
He knew he had to contact Orochimaru again.
Just like when he cooperated with Orochimaru to cultivate the First Hokage Hashirama's cells, and transplant these Blood Wheel Eyes onto his arm.
Danzo's original plan was that if he became Hokage, he would pursue Orochimaru with all his might to destroy the evidence of their collusion.
Now, with the two advisors swaying like reeds, his hopes were dashed once more.
Danzo pushed open the secret compartment behind the bookshelf and entered a cramped, dark room.
He turned on the light, removed the black cloth from the table, revealing a rare wireless telegraph machine with a display screen, and began typing rapidly.
Meanwhile, in the Land of Rice, within the Sound Village, stood a dark purple old mansion in the forest.
In front of a wall covered in surveillance images, Yakushi Kabuto's screen displayed Danzo's message.
"The Third is severely injured and won't live long. Jiraiya is on his way to find Tsunade, intending to have her succeed as Hokage. Help me eliminate Tsunade, and I'll hand Sasuke Uchiha over to you."
Yakushi Kabuto's lips curled into a long, narrow smile, his eyes like those of a cunning fox.
His surroundings felt like a century removed from Konoha's old-fashioned style, filled with various electronic devices.
There was also a mechanical operating bed covered in IV drips, with a white-haired young boy lying in it, connected by a bundle of cables to the back of his head.
Yakushi Kabuto exited and walked through a deep, winding corridor to a stone chamber illuminated by candlelight.
"Lord Orochimaru."
Orochimaru was leaning over the candle, flipping through an ancient ninjutsu book.
He looked up, his purple eyeshadow reflecting the phosphorescence. "State your reason for disturbing my reading."
Yakushi Kabuto relayed Danzo's words.
Orochimaru offered no opinion, chuckling sinisterly. "Kabuto, what do you think I should do?"
Yakushi Kabuto knelt on one knee. "My lord, I believe we should seize this opportunity to attack Konoha and take Sasuke."
Orochimaru shook his head. "Danzo didn't finish his sentence. He wants to tell me that Sasuke is under his control. If I refuse, he'll kill Sasuke, destroying the perfect vessel I desire."
Yakushi Kabuto's face contorted with hatred. "How dare he threaten you!"
Orochimaru's head suddenly detached and flew out, coming nose-to-nose with Yakushi Kabuto, their eyes meeting through glasses. "With your intelligence, you couldn't possibly not see that you're deliberately giving me a chance to explain, could you?"
Yakushi Kabuto's gaze remained steady. "I am absolutely loyal to you, my lord."
"Don't worry, I never doubted it," Orochimaru said with a smile. "Tsunade, huh? It's been a while since I've seen her. I'll pay her a visit this time. Please find out her location."
Yakushi Kabuto nodded respectfully. "Yes, I shall take my leave."
He then walked back into the corridor, adjusting his glasses.
Jiraiya's methods of information gathering left Naruto speechless; he spent his days in the liveliest inn street, frequenting the most luxurious izakayas, eating, drinking, and having fun.
In just half a month, he had accumulated twenty score tokens with smiling faces.
He was devoted to Tsunade while indulging his physical desires, aiming for the best of both worlds.
Naruto, meanwhile, trained rigorously every day.
With the Akatsuki Organization hanging over him like a Sword of Damocles, his motivation grew even stronger. He rebuilt his severely injured meridians and blood vessels to be even more robust.
Without needing the Nine-Tails' power, he had reached a normal state of thirty thousand horsepower.
"Naruto! I found some information! Let's go!" Jiraiya returned to the inn reeking of alcohol and collapsed onto the tatami.
