Background

Naruto returns to Konohagakure after the death of his adoptive father and finds himself restored to a twelve-year-old body with weak chakra. Villagers discriminate against him because Kurama is sealed inside him, but Naruto refuses to accept mistreatment and renews his goal of becoming Hokage 1.

He exposes Mizuki’s attempt to use him to steal the Scroll of Seals, graduates from the Ninja Academy, and receives his forehead protector from Iruka 2 3. As a member of Team Seven, he accompanies Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura to the Land of Waves, where his combat instincts and decisiveness become evident against Kirigakure opponents and Zabuza 12 13.

Naruto’s later influence expands beyond Konoha. He becomes involved in the Land of Fire’s succession, kills the Daimyo, installs Enshū as the new Daimyo, and receives the allegiance of soldiers and vassals as their commander 72.
