Background / History

Sasuke is the surviving Uchiha orphan whose older brother, Itachi Uchiha, massacred their parents and clan. He defines his life around two objectives: restoring the Uchiha Clan and killing Itachi. 6 36

He joins Team 7 with Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno under Kakashi Hatake. From the outset, Sasuke treats Naruto as a rival, agreeing to fight him immediately after their team assignment and becoming resentful whenever others place Naruto before him. 4 7
