Background
Qin Hao is the Third Young Master of the Qin Family, one of Lingnan Commandery’s eight great families. Three months before Su Mengbai’s death, he met with the Golden Wind Fine Rain Tower Master despite having no prior dealings with the tower. 16
According to Lei Ao, Qin Hao approached Su Mengbai twice for control of the Huo Village mine, whose Void Nether Stones were needed for Qin Hao’s plans. After Su Mengbai refused, Lei Ao claimed that Qin Hao arranged for him to be eliminated. 19 Qin Hao subsequently worked through Lei Hall to obtain Void Nether Stones and accelerate the maturation of the Blood Demon Flower. 28 29
His involvement in Qingcheng City was later revealed to be part of Yan Shu’s larger scheme: Yan Shu considered Qin Hao a “bait” whose pursuit of the Blood Demon Flower would help draw out Zi Hanyue of the Cold Moon Sect. 35
Personality
Qin Hao is ambitious, coercive, and ruthless in pursuit of cultivation resources. He has Innate martial artists abducted and drained for blood cultivation, regards Qingcheng City’s casualties as insignificant, and plans to use Su Chen as a controlled pawn against Mu Qingxue. 28 29
He is also highly manipulative. Rather than openly forcing the Golden Wind Fine Rain Tower to surrender the Void Nether Mine, he orders the Lei Family to abduct Su Chen and use him as leverage against Ling Tianhe. 28 After his defeat, his focus shifts toward recovering his strength, maturing the Blood Demon Flower, and taking revenge on the person who crippled him. 32 46
Abilities & Skills
Innate Peak Cultivation
Qin Hao possessed Innate Peak Stage strength before his battle with Su Chen, giving him a substantial advantage in Innate energy reserves. 30 31
- His Innate energy suppressed Su Chen even after Su Chen entered the Innate Mid Stage. 31
- His cultivation was severely damaged after his arm was broken and then destroyed during his escape. 31 32
- His surviving arm and weakened condition make further martial cultivation considerably more difficult. 32
Blood Python Force
Qin Hao uses a blood-attributed cultivation method that manifests blood-red energy in the form of a blood python. 30
- Forms blood energy around his fists for direct combat. 30
- Can produce a blood-python manifestation to strengthen attacks. 30
- Its blood energy was partially suppressed by Su Chen’s Ice Qilin Arm. 30
Bloodthirsty, Blood Python Hand
A full-power hand technique that transforms Qin Hao’s arm with blood-red light and snake-like scales. 31
- Used to overwhelm opponents through fast, forceful strikes. 31
- Carries the pressure of Qin Hao’s Innate Peak energy. 31
- Failed to overcome Su Chen’s Qilin Arm and Vajra-enhanced physical strength. 31
Blood Devouring Flood Dragon Diagram
A cultivation diagram intended to let Qin Hao use blood from Innate martial artists to enter the Spirit Refining Realm. 24 29
- Requires large quantities of blood; ordinary blood gradually became ineffective. 24
- Was prepared alongside a secret blood pool filled with condensed blood from numerous victims. 29 30
- Qin Hao’s breakthrough attempt was interrupted when Su Chen infiltrated his secret chamber. 30
Blood Burning Great Method
An emergency escape technique that burns Qin Hao’s blood energy and turns him into a blood shadow. 32
- Allowed him to evade Su Chen after his arm was destroyed. 32
- He replenished himself while escaping by draining the blood energy of nearby guards. 32
- The technique was used while critically injured and did not prevent lasting damage. 32
