Edwen panicked the moment he heard Lan Mu's words.

He naturally knew that immortality was sometimes a good thing and sometimes a bad thing.

After accumulating tens of millions of lives over so many years, if he fell into the hands of the Blue White Society, even dying would become difficult.

A seal that suppressed even his consciousness would be somewhat better, but if it meant lifelong imprisonment, would he not have to face torment so prolonged it would drive him mad?

When the spaceship returned, Edwen hardened his heart and suddenly leaped up, smashing through the ship's upper deck and charging straight at Ultron, who floated above the platform.

Then, one of Lan Mu's hidden claws retrieved the Killing Qi Stone from Shambhala. Tangible killing intent immediately surged forth, godlike and demonic.

Only the two of them remained on the platform. Lan Mu had already sent away the canned people when Edwen fled, while Edwen's children had just been killed by Edwen himself.
