Lin Ran purified Dragon City, expanded his influence, and confronted growing opposition from the empires and the Sun Moon Empire. After refusing Ju Zi’s offer, he was attacked by Beast Gods, leaving the clash in the ruins of the Heavenly Soul Imperial Palace.

• Lin Ran returned to Dragon City, strengthened his Soul Tower, and absorbed the Rakshasa corruption from Nan Shui Shui while the Life Goddess purified him.
• Lin Ran accepted the Rakshasa God Seed containing Bibi Dong’s remnant soul, then cured Dragon City’s hundreds of thousands of infected residents.
• Lin Ran offered his allies Cultivation Methods and comforted Vina as the group prepared for conflict with the empires and nobles.
• Tang San fought the Crimson Mother inside a God Realm Fragment, then agreed to cooperate with her under her demand for most of the fragment.

• Lin Ran killed the Dou Ling Emperor and refused Ju Zi’s offer to join the Sun Moon Empire, then fought six Beast Gods whose attack collapsed the Heavenly Soul Imperial Palace.

Lin Ran defeated the invading forces, took control of Ming Du, and expanded his plans to remake the empires with the Mental World and new Cultivation Methods. After helping Du Busi become a god, he went with Wang Qiu'er and Wang Dong'er to the Clear Sky Sect, where they met Tang Chen and Bo Saixi.

• Lin Ran escaped the Beast Gods, killed the Treasure-Hunting Mouse and Dragon-Headed Fire Phoenix, subdued the Demon Empress, and returned to the Star Dou Great Forest with his allies.
• Lin Ran and Gu Yuena planned a Soul Spirit system and a method for humans to form soul rings, while Lin Ran recruited Ju Zi, Vina, and Xu Jiujiu into his cause.
• Tang San agreed to reincarnate on Douluo Continent, while Lin Ran refined bloodlines, created new Cultivation Methods, and reached rank ninety-nine.
• Lin Ran and the Life Goddess killed Jin Lin, and Lin Ran claimed his damaged Godhead of Ruin before making Titan and the Star Sea Whale sign Soul Spirit contracts.
• Lin Ran recruited Jing Hongchen and gained control of Mingde Hall, then brought Ming Du under his rule and ordered Ju Zi and Ye Guyi to lead the soul engineers and purge Evil Soul Masters.

Lin Ran expanded his influence while Tang San reincarnated into a new life and entered the academy system built around the Mental World. After Tang San lost to Le Lingdong and Tang Ya exposed his claim to the Tang Sect’s arts, he fled with Tang Wu and began plotting to reclaim power by taking from her.

• Lin Ran visited Clear Sky Sect, planted Blood Clones in Tang Yuan and Tang Xian, then went to Sea God Island and recovered another third of Tang Wu Tong’s soul.
• Tang Yuan took Tang San and Tang Wu to Nuoding City, where Tang San awakened both a Clear Sky Hammer and Blue Silver Grass and claimed the Asura God Sword inheritance.
• Tang San and Tang Wu entered Bei Bei’s academy and refused to pray to Lin Ran’s statue, while Tang San resolved to find another way to obtain the Martial Soul Art.
• Tang Wu and Yu Hao formed a Soul Spirit contract and discovered their Martial Soul Fusion Skill, while Lin Ran gave Yu Hao an Ice Crystal Dragon Mastiff as his Soul Spirit.
• Over the next year and a half, Tang San grew jealous of Tang Wu’s closeness to Yu Hao and injured himself trying to imitate the Martial Soul Art.
• Le Lingdong defeated Tang San in the academy tournament, and Tang Ya accused him of stealing Tang Sect arts before declaring that the sect would sever ties with him.
• Tang San knocked Tang Wu unconscious and fled Nuoding City with her, then found a letter saying their parents had gone to contact the scattered Clear Sky Sect members.
• At their mountain home, Tang San decided to absorb some of Tang Wu’s soul origin to regain strength, but Tian Meng emerged from her brow and challenged him.
