Background

Forty-two years before the events at Acropolis Port, Rona was the eight-year-old sole survivor of a pirate attack on Avisaro Island. Mongge—then an adventurer rather than a pirate—saved her after fighting the attacking pirates alone. She later learned his identity and followed his exploits, intending to join his adventurer’s guild when she grew up. 109

Mongge’s later transformation into the captain of the White Wolf Pirates shattered that ideal. Rona joined the Marines, rose from officer to captain and colonel, and eventually became an Admiral.
