The High Priestess card had a mana-restoring effect, so Su Wu wasn't worried that Maro would have any problems because of it.
Once Maro woke up after a good night's sleep, he'd probably be back to normal.
As for now...
Su Wu lowered his eyes to look at Maro, who was lying on the cold floor. He bent down, grabbed him by the back of his collar, and dragged him to a corner, where he propped him against the wall to keep sleeping.
Someone lying on the floor could easily get in the way. It was better to leave him in a corner.
As for carrying him back to his room? Su Wu wasn't in the mood to be that considerate.
A staff member from the Sky Arena came running over. He watched Su Wu warily, but still asked politely:
"Excuse me, contestant. Could you tell me what happened?"
He seemed to think the white-haired boy in front of him had killed Maro, who was lying on the ground.
Things like that weren't unheard of. Sometimes the staff even had to clean up after particularly brutal matches.
"He fainted. Take him back to his room," Su Wu said casually.
Perfect. Maro had come along and volunteered to be his errand boy.
"Huh?" The staff member looked at Su Wu walking away, then at the blond figure passed out on the floor. In the end, he decided to take care of the person left behind.
He'd made good use of both the Empress and the High Priestess cards. The Chariot card hadn't gone to waste, either; at the very least, it had proved the idea was viable.
"Starting tomorrow, the contestants should all be Nen users." He muttered to himself as he turned and left, putting Maro out of his mind.
