The Immortal Alliance has endured for more than a million years as This Side World’s dominant cultivation power. From Kunling City, where two High Order Spirit Veins converge, it has suppressed the East Sea Dragon Palace, Southern Wilderness Demon Court, Northern Frontier Grassland, and Western Desert Demon Den. Kunling City also provides free Dao lectures by Golden Core cultivators every half month and Nascent Soul masters every three months. 327

Its core consists of the Nine Great Immortal Sects, institutions left behind by Ancient Cultivators to protect different aspects of the world and safeguard ancient inheritances. Despite their public authority, the sects regard themselves as custodians rather than true masters of many of their ancient treasures. 494 498

Immortal Alliance Meeting

The Immortal Alliance Meeting is a high-level conference normally convened once every ten thousand years. It determines long-term development plans, world-scale resource allocation, social-class adjustments, and the fates of ordinary populations. The Great Voyage Plan, for example, was approved at a meeting two thousand years before the Hall of Immortals incident. 495

The meeting takes place through an ancient consciousness-space centered on a circular altar marked [Direction], [Status], and [Dimension].
