Power Progression

Background and History

Minghe long ruled the Netherworld Blood Sea, preferring seclusion to outside disputes. He founded the Asura clan and Asura Sect, and was already recognized as a powerful sword cultivator when he watched the Three Sects’ competition 65 116 469. Seeing other cultivators improve during the Witch–Demon conflict made him worry that remaining isolated would leave him behind 118.

The Subordinate Spirit Mirror gave Minghe a way to speak with Great Powers without leaving the Blood Sea. He became an early Spirit Mirror celebrity after the Tianxin Pill changed his appearance: videos of his twin-sword dances drew a large following and substantial tips 145 149 150.

When Hou Tu arrived to establish reincarnation at the Blood Sea, Minghe initially mistook her request to use it for a threat and attacked. After learning her identity and purpose, he agreed to help in exchange for lordship of the Asura Path. He received Heavenly Dao Merit when the Six Paths were established 233 234 235.

Minghe later competed for a Saint Position through livestream voting. Despite leading at various points and producing a short drama to attract votes, he lost to Hong Yun 469 493 496. Afterward, he traveled in disguise as a Heavenly Immortal, revealing his identity and calling on his Demon Generals when threatened. The journey helped restore his Dao heart, but he returned when his activities were judged disruptive to lower-level society 498 499 500.

Still intent on Sainthood, Minghe eventually took a three-pill combination and cultivated in the dangerous core of the Asura Path. He successfully Proved the Dao, then established a Chaos Dao field named Asura Palace 541 542 543.

Appearance

After taking the Tianxin Pill, Minghe takes on a youthful, feminine-looking form while remaining Minghe. He continues to use this appearance publicly, including for performances and at the Alchemy Assembly 149 215.

Personality

Minghe’s usual instinct is to stay safe in the Netherworld Blood Sea and avoid unnecessary enemies. He becomes forceful, however, when he believes someone is threatening his home or his ambitions 116 233 542.

He enjoys recognition and quickly adapts to the Spirit Mirror’s audience, spending lavishly on chat effects before learning to earn tips through performances. His pursuit of Sainthood is similarly competitive: he canvasses for votes, changes formats when viewers leave, and takes a dangerous cultivation gamble after losing the competition 147 149 492 496 542.

Minghe’s Sword Dao intent surges after his Tianxin Pill breakthrough. When defending the Blood Sea, he fights with Yuantu and Abi and can use the Asura Purgatory Banner to turn its waters into vast numbers of clones 149 233.
