History

Dongfang Xuetong came to Xuanzhou City's Ascension Avenue seeking a disciple of exceptional talent. Accompanied by the Shātu Demon Sage Zhu Ding, she used her Emperor-tier spell One Thought Blooms to dispatch clones across the Southern Wilderness Domain and conduct recruitment in multiple cities at once. Rather than selecting by aptitude alone, she set a single condition: whoever drew her precious sword could become her Direct Disciple. 2 4

Xiao Yao drew the sword despite appearing to possess only Unranked aptitude. Dongfang Xuetong honored the rule she had established and accepted him, refusing public pressure to rescind the decision. When Xiao Yao subsequently revealed his Innate Chaos Body, she declared him her personal disciple and warned that anyone targeting him would become her enemy. 5 6

As Xiao Yao's master, she taught him the Emperor-tier Primordial Sword Art and Basic Sword Technique.
