Bai Yun'er led the Demonic Path as the Formless Demon Emperor and carried the burden of its survival. She sought a future in which the Demonic Path could coexist with other cultivation paths rather than remain a perpetual enemy. Before meeting Xiao Yao, she had waited ten thousand years for a cultivator bearing the Celestial Demon Body bloodline, which she considered essential to that hope. 63 64

She initially agreed to let the Ethereal Purple Ember Fire assume her identity and manage the Demonic Path after devouring her, while accepting that she could no longer protect her junior brother. 60 Her position changed when she discovered that Xiao Yao possessed the Chaos Body, Heavenly Spirit Eyes, and the legendary Primordial Celestial Demon Body.
