Kurotsuchi and Darui went for checkups. Their injuries aren't serious."
The more Sasuke heard, the darker his expression grew.
Such a powerful squad had actually lost to Itachi Uchiha alone. And he himself had lost to Itachi several times. If Izanagi hadn't twisted the outcome of his death, he would already have died at Itachi's hands.

Sasuke slammed his fist into the wall beside him. "Damn it!"
An overwhelming sense of defeat engulfed him.
Gaara, however, showed little emotion. "I suggest you go back and get some proper rest."
After a string of events—the death of his father, the Fourth Kazekage, the Akatsuki Organization extracting the One-Tail from him, and Elder Chiyo sacrificing herself to save him—he was no longer the boy whose heart had been filled with hatred.
Sasuke shook his head. "I don't need to!"
Gaara urged him, "Even though your seal was just replenished, the Cursed Seal has still done serious damage to your body. You'd better rest for a while. Otherwise, your health could take a turn for the worse!"
"I'm fine!" After repeating himself for emphasis, Sasuke looked around. "Where's Yakumo? Any news about that bastard Itachi?"
Just then, Yakumo came out of another tent and said to Sasuke, "You should get some proper rest."
Sasuke looked anxious. "The squad to hunt down that bastard Itachi should already be assembled! When are we leaving?"
Yakumo shook her head. "There are no plans to hunt down Itachi Uchiha for
