The Pokémon Egg had a red base, making it seem somewhat related to Fire-type Pokémon, while its gray and black stripes widened the search scope.

At least, based on Luo Mu's current knowledge, he couldn't accurately determine the species of this Pokémon Egg.

But why did Grandma Juzi want to entrust this Pokémon Egg to him for care?

Luo Mu voiced his confusion, and Grandma Juzi pondered for a moment before speaking gently, "My son is an explorer. This is a Pokémon Egg he obtained while adventuring in the Sinnoh Region. He originally wanted to keep the Pokémon Egg and raise it himself after it hatched, but after a long time, it still hadn't hatched."

"Later, carrying a Pokémon Egg made it inconvenient for him to move freely. When he came back to visit me last time, he left the Pokémon Egg here, saying that he'd help me watch the shop once it hatched."

"Unfortunately, the Pokémon Egg still hadn't hatched after a long period. When I took it to the Pokémon Center in town for an examination, Nurse Joy said the Pokémon Egg was alive and not a dead one."

"I've lived a long time, and my judgment is still good. Last month, when you apprehended that peddler, the Pokémon you released were very powerful. Perhaps, as a Trainer, you might have a way to help this little life be reborn into this world."

In reality, Grandma Juzi had been considering giving this Pokémon Egg to a reliable Trainer or Breeder. Luo Mu undoubtedly seemed reliable, and seizing this opportunity, she brought it up.

Luo Mu took the Pokémon Egg. It felt cool and smooth to the touch. He examined it closely, and the only thing he could confirm was that the Pokémon Egg was at least alive.

Even Nurse Joy, who specialized in Pokémon medical care, could only reach that conclusion. Luo Mu didn't believe his judgment was better than Nurse Joy's.

After all, all he had was the God's-eye view knowledge and experience from his past life as a game player and anime viewer. In terms of professionalism, Nurse Joy was leagues ahead of him.

Should he accept this Pokémon Egg, or politely decline Grandma Juzi's request? Faced with these two choices, Luo Mu fell into thought.

"That's enough, that's enough," Grandma Juzi's aged hand carefully reached around the Pokémon Egg and grabbed Luo Mu's sleeve, as if grasping onto a sliver of hope.

She was old and truly didn't want to see a vibrant life trapped within a Pokémon Egg, dying without ever seeing the sunlight.

"If this child can hatch, then let it help out on your Farm. That would be enough for me."

"Okay."

Luo Mu left the seed wholesale shop. He had arrived with empty hands, but now he not only had six bags of crop seeds but also a Pokémon Egg cradled in his right arm.

He searched online for this Pokémon Egg of unknown species but couldn't find any with similar patterns. Thus, he could only make other plans.

Besides seeking help from experts, he also needed to prepare some nutrient solution for hatching. That stuff was expensive. Luo Mu remembered being troubled for quite a while when he had to prepare it for the Pokémon Egg that would become Dragonite.

As for the Pokémon Egg incubator, a much larger expense, he didn't need to worry since the incubator for Dragonite's Pokémon Egg was still available.

Next, Luo Mu took the Pokémon Egg to other stores to order some ordinary fertilizer and then found a shop to buy enough pasture grass seeds to level the land in the pasture area.

The total expenses added up to exactly ten thousand League currency. The crop seeds were just a small fraction, with the bulk of the expenditure going towards the large quantity of pasture grass seeds.

The pasture grass seeds and fertilizer were arranged for truck delivery, so Luo Mu didn't have to carry them one by one.

With a lighter load, Luo Mu, cradling the Pokémon Egg and carrying the crop seeds, ambled slowly towards the Farm. Looking at the sky, which had already turned a dim yellow, he felt a sense of contentment.

The day had passed so quickly.

Upon returning to the Farm, dusk had turned into pitch black. Bright stars dotted the sky, and coupled with the soft moonlight, it was enough to see the path ahead clearly.

From afar, Luo Mu spotted a pair of brilliant golden beast eyes and a sword of flame resembling ghost fire waiting at the entrance enclosed by a dilapidated fence.

A warmth instantly surged through him, and the chill of early spring couldn't stop his body from warming up. He quickened his pace towards the entrance, cradling the Pokémon Egg. The six Pokémon, led by Luxray, stood there without a single one missing, as if they had been waiting for his return.

Serperior cast a slightly resentful glance at Luo Mu, as if blaming him for often being nowhere to be seen when he had free time, and for coming home so late now.

Luo Mu didn't offer much explanation. He simply took out the Pokémon Egg from his embrace, which had grown a bit cold from the wind, and said, "The weather is still a bit cold lately. The Pokémon Egg can't withstand the low temperatures. Let's talk about it when we get home."

A hint of surprise flashed in Serperior's serpentine eyes, and upon closer inspection, they were filled with disbelief.

Luo Mu had only gone out for a trip, how could he have brought back another Pokémon Egg?

Weren't the six of them enough!?

Was the love that was already divided into six portions going to be further divided!?

Dragonite carefully hugged Luo Mu, afraid of bumping or dropping the Pokémon Egg. He turned around and flapped his small wings, indicating that he had safely delivered Pepper home.

Luo Mu patted Dragonite's head as a reward. His gaze then fell on Mimikyu, who was once again "ignored" by the other Pokémon and had fallen into a state of melancholy. He chuckled, "Mimikyu, come on, let's go home together!"

Mimikyu's droopy plush doll instantly perked up. Upon closer inspection, one could see the Pikachu-like plush doll's belly. Mimikyu's eyes curved into crescent moons, and bubbles of happiness began to rise all over its body.

Luo Mu's voice alerted Luxray and the other Pokémon to Mimikyu's presence. Especially Luxray, a visible look of self-reproach appeared on its majestic face. It had reminded itself countless times, yet it had accidentally overlooked Mimikyu's existence again!?

Luxray considered itself Luo Mu's starter Pokémon and felt obligated to unite every Pokémon and foster closer relationships to form an invincible team.

However, Mimikyu's unique aura of "being ignored by the world, lacking presence" caused it to repeatedly hit a wall.
