The firewood in the fireplace crackled and popped as it burned, though the weather, while cool, wasn't yet cold enough to require a fire for warmth.

Everything was for the sake of this Pokémon Egg, which still held a faint spark of life.

The fireplace in this small Western-style house hadn't been used in a long time. It was covered in black soot and contained old ashes that had been there for who knows how long.

To make use of the fireplace, Luo Mu had Dragonite first control the airflow to sweep the ashes out onto the ground outside. They would make excellent fertilizer.

Next, he had Swampert use a water gun at its lowest setting to clean the fireplace. Ceruledge then used Flame Blade to quickly evaporate any remaining moisture. Thus, the old but functional fireplace was cleaned.

After placing the firewood collected by Luxray, Mimikyu, and Serperior into the fireplace and lighting it, the temperature in the house instantly rose.

Then, surrounding the Pokémon Egg, Luo Mu and his six Pokémon began a discussion.

The topic was: how to ensure the Pokémon within the egg could successfully hatch into this world.

Luo Mu recounted the Pokémon Egg's past experiences to his Pokémon, and each Pokémon had a different reaction.

Pokémon with this ability maintained their bodies at a suitable temperature, which could speed up the hatching process of Pokémon Eggs.

Pokémon like Braviary, Magcargo, Rapidash, Volcarona, Moltres, and even Heatran possessed the Flame Body ability.

As for Serperior and Swampert, they would stay at the farm to guard the house, protect the Pokémon Eggs, and continue farming!

His only advantage was his decent strength. Perhaps Nurse Joy had only found newly evolved Pokémon with Flame Body, so he would have Luxray and the others search for stronger ones.

After warning Serperior and Swampert to guard the home well, Luxray led Ceruledge, and the Mimikyu it had accidentally overlooked again, towards the wilderness to search for Pokémon with the Flame Body ability.

Serperior withdrew its vine, and Luo Mu's gaze fell on the pit. After waiting for a long time, there was still no reaction.

Peter had told him that at Jones Farm, Grass-type Pokémon would also supply Grass energy and some nutrients from their bodies to the crops. This would result in larger and more delicious vegetables and fruits.
