The Three Major Regions Get on Track

The mission was completed very smoothly. On the afternoon of the day he caught four Polliwags, Luo Mu returned to the Farm.

He first went to observe Moltres and the Pokémon Egg in the incubator beneath it.

Moltres was sleeping soundly. Mimikyu, hiding in the shadow of the small house, noticed Luo Mu and Luxray's return and reported that during Luo Mu's absence, Moltres had done nothing but eat and sleep, showing no unusual behavior.

Luo Mu patted Mimikyu's head as if in praise and told it to prepare for a big meal tonight. Then, he led Luxray to the next destination – the farming area.

Luo Mu evenly divided the crab meat from the second Crabominable's claw into 15 portions and steamed them.

Afterward, during a break, Luo Mu released the four Polliwags.

Three Polliwags hid behind their leader, curiously observing their surroundings. They felt that what Luo Mu had said was indeed true.

So many powerful Pokémon lived together harmoniously. Especially that large bird burning with flames, the Polliwags felt it was worlds apart from them, unreachable.

Soon, Ceruledge's wild mushroom barbecue and Luo Mu's steamed Crabominable claws were ready one after another. Luo Mu distributed the portions to the respective Pokémon and then, holding his own portion, squatted on the ground and started eating.

Moltres first tasted a skewer of Ceruledge's barbecue. As the seasoned skewer entered its mouth, Moltres's eyes instantly lit up.

The chili powder was evenly distributed on the surface of the mushrooms. The moisture from the mushrooms was all grilled out, resulting in a crispy yet not dry texture – extremely delicious.

And the crab meat was a stroke of genius. After the spicy grilled skewers, the incredibly sweet and fresh crab meat was like a decisive blow.

Moltres, which had only ever absorbed energy from volcanoes and occasionally eaten some berries, had never tasted such delicious food. A thought even arose in its heart: staying here for this food might not be bad.

The five main Pokémon who tasted the crab meat finally understood why Luo Mu and Luxray were so念念不忘 (obsessed) with it. Even if it were them, after tasting the crab meat, they would surely lose their appetite for a while.

The Polliwags' shiny black round eyes shed a few tears. While savoring the supreme delicacy, they felt from the bottom of their hearts that selling themselves to Luo Mu was the most correct decision they had ever made.

Three days later, the aqueduct from the lake where the Polliwags were caught to the Farm was successfully completed. Since the aqueduct would be filled in after the water was diverted, Swampert didn't need to worry about aesthetics and used brute force all the way.

Serperior wove a large net with extremely small gaps using its tough green vines and placed it at the water outlet of the lake. This would prevent wild water-type Pokémon or unknown fish species from entering Thunder Lake without Luo Mu's knowledge.

The entire project lasted three days and concluded after Swampert filled in the aqueduct again.

Although the initial Thunder Lake had an average depth of only 3.5 meters and was five mu in size, Luo Mu believed that one day he would develop it to its full potential.

As soon as Thunder Lake was completed, the four Polliwags moved in. Although the lake only contained them and the somewhat fierce-looking Swampert, they were very satisfied with the environment and looked forward to the continuous increase in future companions and species.

In the farming area, flower buds had already appeared in the strawberry fields, and a few had bloomed. The same was true for the tomatoes, eggplants, and cabbage.

The cucumber field, which grew the fastest, now showed small cucumbers.

With the two major areas on track, it was time to arrange the ranch area.

Following the same pattern, Swampert used a wide-ranging Stomping Tantrum to clear the weeds and stones from the wasteland. Then, the Pokémon each used their unique abilities to quickly sow edible pasture grass seeds in large patches in the turned soil.

The pasture grass grew extremely fast, not even requiring Whimsicott to share nutrients. It was as if fate was helping Luo Mu; the evening after sowing the pasture grass, a light rain quietly arrived.

At the same time, the nutrient solution in the Pokémon Egg turned transparent again.

Luo Mu gritted his teeth and replaced it with the last can.

Two more days passed, and tender shoots had already emerged from the soil in the ranch area. It would likely take only about a week for them to grow fully.
