Li Dongze is Jiang Liu's wealthy deskmate. At the launch of Cultivation Era, he considers his Gold, Wood, and Water mixed spirit roots inadequate and immediately plans to spend his family's money on drawing top-grade spirit roots. His family assets are stated to be in the billions. 1

Unable to directly top up, Li buys spirit stones from classmates for 3,000 yuan each and offers Jiang Liu a Qi Refining Pill in exchange for Jiang's daily sign-in stones. 1 2 He quickly purchases a First Recharge pack, reaches Qi Refining Layer 1, and clears Story 1-4. 6
