Early career

Qian Xunji travelled the continent in his youth as the leader of a Martial Soul Hall enforcement team, suppressing wolf bandits and Fallen Soul Masters. Backed by Martial Soul Hall's resources, Spirit Bones, talent, and a higher cultivation level, he repeatedly overwhelmed Yu Yuanzhen and cultivated a reputation for arrogance. 234

Unable to imagine surpassing his father Qian Daoliu through individual strength, Qian Xunji turned his ambitions toward expanding Martial Soul Hall and ultimately bringing both empires under Qian Family rule. 237 309

When Yu Xiaogang arrived in Martial Soul City, Qian Xunji allowed him conditional access to third-level library materials, requiring Yu to request the privilege himself. His stated interest was in learning the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan's secrets. 81

After Yu Xiaogang received the Angel God's Red-Level Six Trial, Qian Xunji's jealousy developed into murderous intent. Qian Daoliu intervened and declared Yu protected by the Angel God's glory, forcing Qian Xunji to withdraw. 368 369 370

His conflict with Yu did not end there. In a later battle, Yu Xiaogang defeated Qian Xunji before using the Demon Dragon Domain to extract more than half of Qian Xunji's power in the form of his dark side, leaving him deeply shaken. 392
