Yu Xiaogang was born as the son of Yu Yuanzhen, sect master and sole Titled Douluo of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. As the clan’s expected heir, he was indulged by elders, respected by powerhouses, and courted by younger disciples; this upbringing made him arrogant and dismissive of those he considered inferior. 3

After transmigrating into Yu Xiaogang’s body, he combined ideas from his former life with study of the Douluo cultivation system to alter the fate expected of the original Yu Xiaogang. He gradually accepted Yu Yuanzhen’s care as a father and resolved to make himself shine brightly enough that nobody could use him to mock Yu Yuanzhen. 1 10
